Does anyone know where I can find a simple list of all the monsters in the game by location? I seem to be missing a few (I know I've completed all the Marks and Rare Game and I'm 99.99% sure I took care of all optional bosses.) See, the thing is, all of the guides I've found so far list all this other crap as well -- such as monster statistics, bestiary descriptions, etc. etc. I don't need all that -- I just want a simple list in outline form -- rather like what appears if you go in for the Bestiary in the game and see the list of everything there by location from there. That way I'd know exactly what I was missing from where.

***** Wow, thats alot to type.
Okay. That is all the wild fiends. It does not include the likes of the Arcadian Soliders etc. If you want me to do the marks and elite marks then i will. But i think you said you have all them.
Then there are Rare Game these are the fiends that you need to get trophys from. Then you give the trophys to the guys at the hunters camp. If you want me to post those aswell then i will.
Bear in mind, that some fiends, ie Steelings, are found at lots of places, but once you have killed one, it is checked of in your beastiary. So thats why some places look emptier than others.

Calum -- I personally don't have any areas that "look empty" -- but this list should be great in trying to zero in on those monsters that for some reason I missed. I don't even have access to a printer right now, but I'm just gonna jot down those ones that sound like they might not be familiar and see where I can go from there. Thanks so much for doing this!
www.ff12maps.com is excellent and it has that.

Anyway. The list is updated fully now. Also, Agent. Though you are probably aware of this, Some rare game fiends will not appear unless you meet certain criteria. I know most of them, but one for example. The Urutan exile. Have you got him yet?
I think it appears near that machine in the sandsea after killing X number amount of Urutan Yensa's
Anyway, you probably know about this. But i just wanted to know so that if needs be, i can add more things to the list. I suppose it may come in useful to other people one day perhaps.

I've already completed all the Rare Game, so I'm good there. I'm just trying to sort out one or more regular monsters that for some reason I haven't yet encountered. Once I've figured out which ones they are (or which one it is), I'll post it here. :)
Tell me where they're in between maybe?

this is a guide of 80 rare monsters.

just look at the location part! You can ignore the other stuff!
Hope that helps at all.

Wow, congrats on not actually reading my post or anything else in the thread at all, particularly the part where I wrote:

Calum -- thanks again for the list. It helped a lot and I now have my Order of Ambrosia. It turns out I was only missing three entries -- Wildsnake (Giza Plains), Gazer (Lhusu Mines) and Garif (Ozmone Plain - humanoid.)
Seems all three have annoying requirements similar to Rare Game that makes them harder to find than ordinary monsters. Thanks to everyone else that tried to help, including the person who PMed me. It's appreciated, but Calum's list turned out to be just what I needed.
