Most of this isn't on Galbadia Hotel OR is partially, but I have a more complete list. I will update this list more over time. If the archives ask for a password, the password is "khaltrops" without the quotations.

Gary Griegsby's World at War (http://www.filefactory.com/file/360927/)(Direct game file rip, very little music. The game prefers to regale you with the patriotic main theme and occasionally splash a shorter theme depending on the country you play. Nonetheless, it was good music.)

Worms Armageddon (http://www.filefactory.com/file/936d4e/) (Direct game music rip. Upsampled rather than downsampled to maintain fidelity)

Movie Soundtracks:

28 Days Later (http://www.filefactory.com/file/f453f0/)

Donnie Darko (http://www.filefactory.com/file/25034c/)

Requiem for a Dream (http://www.filefactory.com/file/dcc05b/)

Fun utilities:

Microsoft Talk It (http://www.filefactory.com/file/a3fc13/) (You type it, the program will say it in one of many adjustable voices)

Utilities I use to rip sounds:

CDEX (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/) (The program I use to rip CD audio from game CDs most of the time)

FMV Extractor (http://necrotech.de) (Can be used to find movies and music from various files from many types of games. Beta 1.3 is pretty darn stable and can also search for MP3 data)

I also use Psound (can be found everywhere on this forum) for some PS1 and 2 music (rarely though) and I use Adobe Audition (You'll have to find that on your own, it's an expensive commercial software). Sometimes checking random files that appear to be possibly sound files can turn up MP3 format sounds, RAW PCM or even other formats audition can read. I've been using it since it was known as Cool Edit Pro 1.0 to rip game music.

Enjoy!

I will continually update this thread whenever I have ripped music from a game. I have a good deal of them (particularly rip-able PC games) so it should last a while. Music quality is lossy but the highest quality of variable bitrate available (usually, unless it's a rip I did long ago in which case it's 128kb or if it's the MP3 directly from a game, which is simply the same as it was intended)

PS. I'd like to Thanks Domingo for helping me fill out the ObsCure soundtrack.

5/7/08. Added 3 more Soundtracks. GTA: London 1969, Axis and Allies (Turn Based Strategy Verision) and Army Men 2.

5/8/08 Added Civilization 3 (Plus all expansions), Warhammer 40K: Rites of War, Lords of the Realm 2 and Worms Armageddon.

5/9/08 Added Star Wars: Masters of Ters Ksi (a very obscure PSX fighting game), Magic: The Gathering Battlegrounds

5/12/08 Added Heretic 2, Civilization 4 (Plus all expansions and bonus material) and Diablo: Hellfire

5/14/08 Added Mech Commander, One Must Fall: 2097 and Space Hulk

5/19/08 Added 3 Pinball games plus Chef's Luv Shack, Death Rally, Total Annihilation: Kingdoms and TFX: Tactical Fighter Experiment

Grabbed Obscure. Creepy and yet beautiful. Thanks. Been looking for Mephisto Waltz, I think Jerry Goldsmith. If you happen to pass it in your travels, give me a nod. Nice thread!
