I have to say, this is one of the best RPG's I've played in a very long time. The controls are similar to Diablo II, but the way your character advances in skill is more like The Secret of Evermore style. Sorry, best example I could give, for those who never played TSoE, basically, you attack your strength and ability to use weapons goes up, you use bows or guns your dexterity and ranged weapons ability goes up, and if you use magic your intelligence goes up and the type of magic you use gets stronger.

To clear up any confusion, you have three attributes Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. You have 4 abilities, Melee attack, Ranged attack, Nature magic, and Combat magic.

When playing in single player you can have up to 8 people in your party; you start off as one person but can either allow other people to join you or hire others. When playing online you control 1 person, but you can have up to 8 in a game, and yes, you CAN import a character you've been working on in single player into a multiplayer game. The only catch is in order to do so he has to be the only character you're controlling in the game you import him or her from.

I could go on forever about this game, but I think I'll leave it at that and ask for any questions or comments.

Well, my housemate bought this game a few days ago and I haven't seen him since... He says it's a VERY good game, and the only reason I haven't run out to buy it is because I'm so immersed in Final Fantasy VI at the moment.

Maybe after exams... I want to be able to concentrate on those first.

Its for the PC and costs around $50 American. You need at least 128 RAM, a 333 MHz processor, 1 GB of hard drive space, and at least an 8 MB or 3D video card.

For multiplayer you can play in a game with up to 4 players if you have a 56K modem, but if you have something higher you can have up to 8.

It's a good game no doubt to that. Though the creators of the game r lucky to have released before Never Winter Night's cuz if they didn't I'm pretty sure the game would have flopped. There is just now way that they can hang with this massive game.
