As for megaten muisc, i'd say nocturne, persona be true to your mind or digital devil saga integral is good, persona 3 and 4 are great, but some people seem to dislike it for some reason.

It fits the setting of the game but isn't exactly what a fan of Meguro was expecting. As far as dual hearts, I am not sure what the Japanese name of the game is, if at all.

Thank you so much for uploading MP3s of Megami Tensei 2!!! No one's even heard of the AWESOME music from that game, and I'm surprised I even found it here! People remember SMT for Nocturne and the SNES games, but the music from the Famicom games are much better than the SNES SMTs (ironically, the composer did the music for all four games) and I wish more people gave them a chance.

I don't mind making a mirror for jdk band 1 and thunder force VI, but i didn't upload jdk band 4, which one is corrupted?(it may be the title that's giving trouble on thunder force VI, if it goes over the 250 character limit it says it's corrupt)

The normal version of the nocturne soundtrack (Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne Original Soundtrack) should have them added in as the last 2 tracks on it, either way i do know that amara final and both before and after conception shinjuku medical hospital are in that upload.

I'd like to request the music ripped from Digital Devil Saga 2, although I'm looking for two specific songs:
- The battle theme that plays when Omoikane (the element weakness roulette guy) or Jack Frost (the quiz guy) appear randomly.
- The BGM of the second layer of the surface of the sun; a version of this song is on the DDS1&2 album called "Nirvana" (419), but it has some vocals I don't like.
Any help is appreciated.

Can you upload these, tatsuya, if you got?I was hoping he'd upload them as well. they were as hard to find as the megami tensei ova's 3 missing songs (well, until roddy mcstew uploaded his flac version, kudos to him), so unfortunately, no i don't.
Though this does make me want to go through my external HDD's music stock again, i have a bunch of rare stuff i haven't listed.

u can still find the developer on the site. after searchin, click data. the developer will be in plain sight. shadow hearts: covenant and from the new world were from Nautilus. the original shadow hearts was sacnoth.
While that may be true, i unfortunately cannot make company listings for one or 2 soundtracks. in the end, i placed them there for the simple reason that they were listed in the games intros to be either produced or developed by midway, thus i placed them into midway's category, if you want them removed from midway's category i will, but they will either have to be deleted or put in the "other" category, as i cannot clog my thread up for one specific album.
Also, am i mistaken but wasn't the shadow hearts series technically developed by aruze(a pachinko machine company), with sacnoth and nautilus being in house developers?
The reason you see some listings with only one or 2 items in them is that, i do intend to add to those categories, however i need to find the soundtracks i intend to add first, flight plan is especially hard to aquire.

Unfortunately i can't as i no longer have the game installed, however if you just want the music, you can rip it from the game's music folder on your C drive, as they are usually in ogg format which many players use.

Hmm, i opened it with a few audio encoding tools and from what i can tell, it's either not a audio file, or it's only a partial audio file, i honestly don't know what i can do with this tbh, sorry.

As for a rip of digital devil saga 1, as far as i know there has not been one outside of emulated audio (PSF) files, since most if not all of the DDS songs appear on the integral soundtrack.

I'm a huge fan of Gagharv Trilogy. White Witch is one of my favorite JRPG, and I really love its soundtrack. But after being disappointed with LoH6, I hardly listen to Falcom&JDK music. At that time, I was a little sick and tired of their taste of music. Maybe I had heard LoH soundtrack too many times:p.
But it seems that this is the right time to listen to their music again. I have not heard any of YS soundtracks yet, but there are many posts mention the greatness of Felghana. So it couldn't be wrong decision to begin with it. Could you recommend other YS OST or YS soundtrack relate to classics(orchestra)? I love to listen to classics as well as VGM.

I'm actually surprised you didn't like LOH 6, the only problem i had with it was the outright insane way you have to get 100%, 6 is probably my favorite game in the legend of heroes series, though SC is far better than FC, due to fc taking so long to get to the good story segments and generally being more of a prelude, though if your referring to the soundtrack then yes, FC is probably the weakest soundtrack since LOH2, excluding the awesome track silver will and a couple of others of course:The Legend of Heroes VI: Sora no Kiseki FC - Silver Will - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODjj64QFV2g)
If you haven't gotten past chapter 2, i'd suggest picking it up again, the second half of the game has a ton of surprises and makes the game more enjoyable, though i will admit that it bugs me that you have to go through 10-20 hours to get to the good parts of the game, from my understanding, SC doesn't have that problem.
As for Ys music, to be honest, every Ys soundtrack outside of Ys 5 and Ys strategy i'd suggest them all, however i'll list 1 song from every Ys game that i personally like, then if i have space, i'll list some from other falcom music.
I'll say this right now, don't read the comments if you ever intend to play these games

WHOAA! This is one of the greatest posts I've ever seen. I have not received any long and careful answers like this. I don't know how to thank you enough and reply to your post. You are a truly falcom fan, this is magnificent.
There are so many well-made soundtracks to listen to, now I'm more confused:). I had a thought that I couldn't enjoy the FC soundtrack because I didn't play the sequel, but it seems that this is not classy indeed. However it is a good thing to hear that they keep the series well. Maybe I need to play SC&TC someday to fully understand Sora no Kiseki trilogy.
About YS soundtrack, I'm totally surprised that most of the tracks are hard rock-style. The atmosphere is different from that of LoH. I'm not accustomed to this rock thing, so it may take some time to see the true beauty of YS music. Now's the infinite replay time, need to be patient! Actually I'm listening to Symphony YS & Ys V Orchestra Version right now:p.
If I just left a short comment like "thank you" after seeing your long post, I would feel guilty. So here's my small list of recommendation for you and others who will see the post later. If you are from Japan, and judging from the first post, you definitely know more about video game music than me. So I choose what is less famous and deserves more. I'm sorry that I couldn't write the detailed review because writing in English is really hard for me.

There are so many well-made soundtracks to listen to, now I'm more confused:). I had a thought that I couldn't enjoy the FC soundtrack because I didn't play the sequel, but it seems that this is not classy indeed. However it is a good thing to hear that they keep the series well. Maybe I need to play SC&TC someday to fully understand Sora no Kiseki trilogy.
About YS soundtrack, I'm totally surprised that most of the tracks are hard rock-style. The atmosphere is different from that of LoH. I'm not accustomed to this rock thing, so it may take some time to see the true beauty of YS music. Now's the infinite replay time, need to be patient! Actually I'm listening to Symphony YS & Ys V Orchestra Version right now:p.
If I just left a short comment like "thank you" after seeing your long post, I would feel guilty. So here's my small list of recommendation for you and others who will see the post later. If you are from Japan, and judging from the first post, you definitely know more about video game music than me. So I choose what is less famous and deserves more. I'm sorry that I couldn't write the detailed review because writing in English is really hard for me.

It's somewhat pointless to add a link to that, as most people who find good music need to either play the game to enjoy it, or stumble onto it themselves, it just seems pointless at this time, well that and i don't know how to single post link.
Ironically my username is just that, i am not from japan, though i probably am more familiar with japanese language and text than many on the site, as i do know a little japanese, both in words and writing system, i'm far from an expert though, in the case of my music knowledge, i just have a very strong love of game music, enough that i've checked different languages and such looking for them.
Speaking of lesser known music, i really should mention a few orchestrial and atmospheric tracks for you, as much of falcom's music that i posted is more action oriented.
Noriyuki idaware is a good composer, he's probably one of my favorite composers of the past, due to soundtracks like Lunar (my second rpg was eternal blue on the sega cd, first being phantasy star 4), grandia and langrisser, rarely can you go wrong with idaware.
Motoi sakuraba is one of the best composers in the buisness, i could make a list of music he's made on it's own, however there is 1 that i would call his masterwork:Baten Kaitos II - Le Ali Del Principio - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqORLlPg-84)
Le ali del principo, though i doubt it's accurate italian, was composed by motoi sakuraba, written by his wife, and sung by his 9 year old (at the time) daughter, no matter what, it is truly a masterpiece, and is considered by many his best work, i sincerely doubt i need to mention the tales of games.
Yasunori matsuda is probably the most known composer of the 3 you listed, though i'm not disagreeing with his ability.
I suppose i should post a few vocal/atmospheric tracks that i like because, well yeah, i love music.
