Ok, I'm not 100% sure is this belongs here or in requests, please bare with me.

Is there anyone frequenting these forums interested in game music that can actually play musical instruments/sing/do anything musiccy.

I ask this because am one of the founders of a small team called "Sinksonic Audio". We do work in 3rd party free mods for computer games, composing music, doing voice work and constructed promotional videos. We need musicians, voice artists, and audio visual students.

Me and the other founder Smiley met doing a Warhammer mod for a game in which I was voice acting and he was composing the music. From there we decided to undertake a few projects but have found ourselves limited (there is only so much voice work I can do and only so much music he can make).

- What's in it for you? If you're a creative person you want to do creative things. If you join Sinksonic it means you will have several musicians, writers and editors helping you out on project (you may want a video or piece of audio speech or FX for a composition, similarly, we may want the same)
- Any work with Sinksonic is yours to use in a portfolio showcasing your particular skills
- You may get your name on some mod credits (oh the prestihe)

- What's in it for us? The same, we help you, you help us.

We aren't strict, you let us know how much time you have free and we work from there. The team's growing nicely we have people capable of playing Piano/Violin/Harmonica/Ocarina/Drums/Flute/Guitar and more as well as voice actors, programmers and audio visual editors. If you play an instrument that's already listed, we still want you. You will be given full props for your part in any composition.

PS, I am not trying to fish members for a forum, the only forum Sinksonic has is for posting updates on where you are with projects and for directing mod teams to for reference to our work (it has no social aspect)

I do voice acting, singing and play a Dan Tranh, that's a Vietnamese instrument. However, I doubt you can need this one or actually work with me, being European and having crappy microphone and all. :P

Id be very interested to hear a sample mate. Your nationality is no issue and even if your microphone is bad I would like to hear any melodies you can make.

Oh dear... But I'm extremely rusty when it comes to my Dan Tranh. I should get me some new picks, because my old ones got lost when I moved - which is a year ago. I haven't played it since then. O_o

lol... how the time goes by.

Well I've looked up some videos to familiarise myself with the instrument, it sounds pretty awesome to me and I love variety. Can you record something for me (even if in bad quality) and zip it and e mail it or something?

Oh well... I can try, but don't expect anything too soon - I have a lot of things to do, and I should get used to playing it again, before I record something... ^^;

I hope you won't be surprised... although being female my voice is a bit deep and rough... you could easily mistake me for a guy. 9.9

I have no idea what the 33 stuff means..but, right now i'm using Fruity loops and various vst plug-ins that emulate as close a possible that awesome 8-bit/16-bit sound...the problem is that i only have the demo software so I can't save..i can't export a mp3 or wavs..I have to do the entire thing at once hence the short clips
