For those of you who don't know, it's a Playstation/PC game where you are given for panels: an Up, Down, Left, and Right. You choose a song, and you have to dance your way through it by stepping on the right panel at the right time. Some songs are very difficult to get through, some are for the DDR newbie. (Sorry, I'm not a very good explainer of things. Go to http://www.ddrfreak.com/aboutddr.php for a more detailed explanation.)

So...dya like DDR? Why? What is your favorite song? What is your least favorite song? Anything that has to do with DDR, post it here!!!

Personally, I luv DDR!! I can't get enough of it!!! My favorite song has to be B4U. I like the melody.

B4U is very awesome. Mine would probably have to be...hmm, well there's quite a few...I like most of the Pranoia Mixes...Afronova is truly awesome. Butterfly's good, very good. Boom Boom Dollar K.G.3 Mix is very good.

I can do quite many difficult songs. Sadly, I can only pass Max300 on regular ;_; But I'll practice and get better eventually.

Do you (Ranma-kun or anyone else) freestyle? That's where you just do all sorts of crazy stuff (for example, like, doing a song without looking at the screen, or break dancing while hiting the steps or something). I try to do that as much as I can. ^_^

Anyways, I would like B4U... if I didn't have to hear it every time I go to the arcades.

My fave song is either Tsugaru (MAX2) or era(nostalmix)... and anything coming from dj TAKA or TaQ is fine. Ghosts... So Deep... Justify My Love... Kakumei... My Sweet Darlin'... I have a lot of faves o_O

Songs that I don't like:

Dynamite Rave (Played TOO damn much)
Let Them Move
Salamander Crush Beat Mix (I hated it in Beatmania... I hate it here)
D2R (Failed attempt to make another B4U)

But I'm more of a IIDX person now, I only play DDR if it's a MAX or a MAX2 machine, otherwise forget it.

*can't wait until IIDX 7th Style comes out... MAX300 on IIDX!*

As for freestyling... I'm more of a PAer.... I have a memory card full of arcade data that has AA's all over the place.

Freestyling?? NOO WAY! One time, I tried it. I fell and my butt needed one of those icy pack thingys (LOL). However, I like watching my cousin do it and hurt herself... ;)

The hardest song that I can get an AA in is Make a Jam! on Trick and 6 panel. Took me a while to get it though.

OOH YEAH!! My least favorite song is El Ritmo Tropicale. I hear it everytime I go somewhere with a DDR machine. Hear 1 song for about 2 hours, 2 days a week, you start to get REALLY annoyed by it.

The only songs I hate are slow, easy songs, and songs that just plain sound bad. For example:

Have you Ever Been Mellow
Believe in Miracles
Let Them Move
Keep On Movin'
Get up and Move

Realise that all of these are first mix songs. Because first mix isn't all so great. Otherwise, I can't think of many other sogns I don't like.

And Ranma-kun, I would suggest practicing. ^^ That's how I learned my freestyling skillz0rz. Experiment; trial and error. It all pays off, trust me. :p

Anyways, my best DDR experience was probably when I was at Universal Islands of Adventure. They had an Extreme machine there and we went almost everyday for 4 days. I played it everyday and made a few friends in the process!

DDR Rocks... I have SuperNOVA and EX2 games, and played the arcades since 7 years. (Since the newbie days.)

Now i'm forward to some 7-footers Heavy...
