I've been playing FFVI for several years now, but for those in PAL territories who've only just got this brillant game, I'm curious. What did you think about the Opera Scene? Me, I LOVED it (but then, I love classical music anyway). It has the right balance of drama, tension and comedy, plus it provided an interesting mini-game in trying to remember the lines. Plus, with Ultros' attempts to 'flatten' out the singing, injected a bit of tension and comedy into the story. And on top of that, the FMV of the scene in FF Anthology was even better. Celes reminded me a lot of Garnet in that dress, (o..ooo). All it needed was a fully orchestrated soundtrack, like the version on my FF N Generation CD. So what do you think about this brillant scene?

I loved it too... It's one of my favorite scenes. The song was beautiful. (If you chose the correct lines and go up the stairs at the right time, oh course... otherwise it's totally disaster :D) It brought to my mind 'I want to be you Canary' from FFIX. The plot was a little same like. I, accually, was already sure there wouldn't be so touching scenes as in the others,(expect when Cyan saw his family to go to Phantom train... It was kinda sad) but the opera proved I was wrong, and I was happy for it. And I was even happier when there came more of them. They're always important part of the game :)

I thought it was quite rubbish, there was'nt anything great about it. Apart from when Ultros interuppted, I had to fight him then thats when it got interesting.

I don't like that part 1 bit. Quite annoying if you ask me. The only good part was It wasn't that difficult.

I liked the music, the words were a bit sappy tho

Ultros always enters in the right time. Same with Setzer. I loved the whole thing.

What do I think of it?? Lets just put it this way, I can sing the entire Opera in its Origional Key in both Italien and English :o I love it :)

it was not a bad scene,ok.it was annoying but if u were like me and kept mucking it up that u had to do it all over again:p

I liked it, especially Celes theme playing during it. And Ultros best villian ever =D Always coming and going xD

The opera was the coolest shit in any Final Fantasy. I have the orchestrated version. How can you say it was boaring? Damn thats like the high point of the first half of the game.

Yeah i thought it was kinda cool but i had to re do it sometimes witch was a bad thing
