to beat the whole game?

Me it took me 16 hours to past the first disk and around 40 hours later i beat the game so i pasted it in obout 50 hours.

i'd say about 65 hours{the game is so easy}

It took about 53 hours to finish it. Bout the same time as it took to finish FF9, but i did all the mini-quests too.

I finished it in about 80 hours, but did everything there was to do. Including the side-quests, battle square, weapons, chocobo breeding, not to mention raising my character's levels.

well it took me 50 hours doing everything too. But i just started to play again last night and im already at the temple. so i might beat my own record.

Seriously. I've played through the game from start to finish twice, and both times I spent ages fighting to get everyone up to level 99 (dunno why, I was that bored at the time... O_o) and beating the weapons and things like that. :) But yeah, I've never tried playing through the game quickly.

The fastest time I know of for anyone completing FF7 is just over 12 hours.

I think it was 67 hours or something... But passing the first disc took about 17 hours, that's for sure:o

first time with lv up me and mateira 99+ hours and then about 30 somting I dont remember how much of the extras done and I am doing a new game with no mmateria right now

My settlements exactly. Not to metnion all the time I just screwed around, lol. FF7 has lotsa fun things to do ^^

It took me about 69 hours. I only did Chocobo breeding and Battle stadium.

it took me about a freakin month but that was because I sucked at it and i was unprepared for everything i was like Level 70 when i beat sephiroth

It took me around 73 hours to complete fully because it was the first ever rpg i ever played

About 70-90 hours, I cant quite remember, but I just ran around towns + the world map most of the time doing nothing. :)

Bout 70 hours to get to and kill sephy. But by that time he was really easy. lol.

It took me 64 hours to complete the game.

35 hours to kill the last boss. About 65 hours to kill both weapons, Lv up to 99, max stats, basically become invincible. I've also completed the game 17:45, and it was hard indeed.

im in the 80 hour range too ...people who have 80 hours prolly have extremlly better characters then 50 hour characters anyways :rolleyes:

same hear it was the first rpg i had ever played um my time was around about the same i gess.

i took bout 80-90 hours as had about 5 or 6 characters at lv.99 and i think i got just about every secret,also it was my first RPG and i was only 11 years old;)

The first time it took me about 56 hours and and I missed a few things. The second time it took me about 56 hours again but I did everything and my characters where all around lvl 90.

First time through was about thirty hours or so. I've since played through six or seven more times, and my current last save is around the 70 hour mark, which has done pretty much everything you could do...

im at the end right now at 68 hours and leveling up.

Okay! Okay!! I don't know how long it took me because I had stopped looking at the clock a long time before I realized that It had stopped at 99:59:59. Of course ALL my charecters were maxed out and all the side quests and secerets were complete. Actually I was Kind of so attached to the game that I did not want to end it! And I Still thought that I was not ready to fight Sephy. When I finally got to him I didn't even have to swich parties once! Plus it was my first RPG.

Don't feel bad, its sort of like pringles...

Once you start, the fun don't stop, and its hard to quit.

First time it took me 70 hours. The second time it took me 50 hours. the third time it took me 49 and i'm playing it for the fourth time now.

it took me about 70 hours. i think, and i did most side quests including the chocobo.

47 hours. All chocobos, all materias and all but 3 missing enemy skills.

Second time beating it.

I finished the game in 43 hours, but I'm still playing the same game trying to find every secret and item so now my play time is 96 hours 34 minutes.

This is my second time through it. Like i said the first time the memory card corrupted. I'm doing everything right. I may have left some items[ not found ]. but, it's all good. i maxed out the time, i like to take my time... like every so often i go & spend a few hours leveling up my characters. But, after i'm done with this, i'll go try & beat ff8 or ff9. doesn't matter to me.

you are soooo bluffing! not gonna work! you can't trick us! if not then....sorry?

You guys r slow, it took me 34 hours.... I beat it w/ out Knights of the round and my guys were on LV 60.... I beat these games fast... they are too easy.

Man, you guys are quick. It took me 90-some hours and I didn't even do everything. I didn't beat the Weapons or max out all my characters and materia.

If you count all the time I didn't play it, it took m a year. I lost against Sephiroth (Yes, I know. Shame on me.) the first time and kind gave up for a long, long, time.

Hey I'm 12 and beat the dam% game in 30 hr and did all the sidequests and stuff like that. But thats probly cause its my unclles game and alway watched him play it so i knew what i was doin.

last time 90 hours.
Found all enemy skills for every enemy skill materia I had (3 of them)
I found all of the summons and I had 4 Gold Chocobo's.
With 2 of my Gold Chocobo's I won the S-class Cup.
I defeated Emerald and Ruby weapon.
Got all of the secret character and did their quests.
I got everbody's 4th limit break and their ultimate weapons and all characters were lvl 99.

Well the first time I did it in about 25 hours but that was at a low level and barely had any good stuff and it took thousands of go's to defeat the last boss.
I did anouther file which I did in 66 hours and i had all the ultimate weapons and all limit breaks and loads of stuff.

It took me 43 hours first time
now am playing it for 86 hours and cloud's lvl 86 all charecters limit lvl4 and all weapons and armors and all master materia and 3 e.skill materia only dragon force skill is missing. i have master magic, summon, command materias too. cloud's strength is already 155 with ultima weapon that makes it 255 his magic is 240 i guess.

I know it's the whole point of the thread, but I don't really see the point of zooming through the game. Hell with impressing people.

This is no joke. I beat the game without gameshark and got every secret in 10 hours and 22 minutes!!! Is this a new record?

I'm not sure I buy that. Every secret? Did you beat all of the weapons? Get all of the huge materia? What levels were your characters at?

whats the point of a game shark well i know it's fun and all..but thats just to easy.....


well any way it took me about 97 or 98 hours getttin all enemy skills,leveling up,all master materia...etc.

Actually, I think Bobbysteve said that he beat it without Gameshark. If you believe him.

i beat it in aboout 70 hours i'd say. i spent 25 hours on the first disc, and my guys were lvl 60+ on the first disc.

I myself zoomed through the game, however because boss battles took forever, it all added up to about a good 97 hours...but that was the first try. Otherwise, I don't keep track and play files until they say 99:99. Soo..um...yeah.

On the first try it took me like.. 36:17 hours, 'cause I didn't know what I was doing. XD But then on the second time, I had the strategy guide, so I could get everything and level up my materia/party more. So, that took me around.. 67:19. ;D

I have a question: does everybody's FF7 clock run slow, or is it just mine? Because 1 second FF7 time on my game seems to be about 2 seconds real time.

I beat it in about 44 hours the first time and 36 the second.

The first time I beat Sephiroth, I think I was about lvl 60 at around 40hrs. Usually I get my characters up to about lvl 30 on disc one through the disc 3 enemies in Junon. The highest lvl characters I ever had was 93 ( I think) and that was at 64:32. At that point I stopped training because I could kill Sephirroth in 3 rounds:( . I had already done everything except kill the weapons. This includes getting a gold chocobo and all of the e-skills. My point is that most people who play for 80 hrs. are either slow, don't know where/when to train, or are trying to max out all of the stats for all characters. I didn't max out my stats and I didn't try to because by the time I finished the game, FF 8 came out.

The first time it took around 82 hours with all stuff done but the SECOND time I left the machine on overnight so I dind't have to go and find a save point so it said 99:59:99 but it was actually like 200 somethin
