I'm working on an improved 5th disc for the Concord Set. The tracklist is as follows. As you might expect, the unreleased ToD and LC tracks aren't quite up to par with the other tracks(hissing, quietness, etc.). Some of the music is actually not already available on this thread. Some of the ToD stuff just wasn't there and the LC stuff has hissing but still sounds better than what is offered. Also, I included some KotCS stuff such as the first unreleased section of The Jungle Chase titled Rallying The Troops which I edited to have a clean ending.

The "Complete" scores were put together with bootlegs from recording sessions, extracted from the film/DVDs (using rear channels, filtering, etc) and other means. Hi everybody - I just wanted to be yet another to request the Lego Indiana Jones soundtrack - apparently there's a zip floating around the internet but I've yet to find it....

Just saw the custom Young Indy Vol. 5 by Laserschwert - nicely done! The artwork is great. Wish I would've seen that before making my own, also mostly from the Curt Sobel bootleg:

I have two requests, both a little odd.
First, I'm looking for the original 9 track version of Raiders.
Second, at some point I got a 32 track 'Complete' Raiders score (I was actually looking for the above 9 track version.) It's great, but as long as I've got it, however, track 15 "Through the Wall" is clipped, and if anybody else has this, do they have a version with a full version of the track (Or is it always clipped?)

its MP3 (I got it from his FTP before it went down) Raiders didnt come with a PDF that i recall, but i have since lost the archive it originally came from because i had a hard drive crash, also i was only able to save the tracks because they were on my mp3 player

Faleel, these are GREAT! I really LOVE what you have done. I had to do this with several soundtracks, like "Right Stuff", collect various tracks from different sources and put them altogether. Keep up the GREAT work!
Also, I wanted to point out that the second disc, tracks 13, 14, and 15 are misspelled. I don't know if Williams himself misspelled the march, as it is a REAL march, composed in 1866 by Johann Gottfried Piefke, after the battle of K�niggr�tzer, which is why it is called the "K�niggr�tzer Marsch"! Being of some German descent, I know a little about this march. The battle was a major thing, ending the Austro-prussian war, and even though the march was one of Hitler's favorites, and he assigned it as the official theme for the Wermarcht, it had been greatly loved before and after the Nazi party used it! And, I don't know how anyone today, when you hear it, even playing in that scene from Indy 3, cannot tap your feet to the great marching sound!

I wouldnt be a very good completist then would I?

the only part that sounded crappy in my piece was the intro, the rest was just not "Audiophile/ABC standart's"

I wouldn't call ABC's Indy version "audiophile". Just much more comfortable than the piercing sound this Indy score always ends with. Much more powerful without the usual pushy sound in the same time (a paradox).

I listened to your version out of curiosity. The missing bit you took is finally very small and I'm sure you have the same music on the "Temple Idol" track. Maybe I mistake but if I reckoned something new in the entire take, for me the begining is already available.

... And sorry if I think it's rubish to deal with cheesy sound. Your pleasure to my point of view is only in the mental conception of having it "complete". With such tracks for me you don't have anything. So for me your track isn't "superior" to JS900's one even with the care you put in it.

Its the same motif, its similar orchestration, just like how the statement of Goldsmith's Star Trek theme in "Total Logic - Floating Office" sounds pretty much like the "Main Titles" so yes in a way its similar to the "In The Idol's Temple" music, but not the same, there are some low almost tuba-like brass in "Idol's Temple" which is not present here.

also listen (if you have it) to the "End Titles (Film Version)" from the Superman The Movie disc in the FSM "Blue Box" its basically the same principle, editing the music to how it was in the film for an alternate listening experience.

the one about the plane being out of fuel is way after the map travel part, you could edit it out if you want....

The Map/Out Of Fuel is a little hard to edit because on the part where end the Willie's Theme from the Map part you have to mash up with the Airplane Sequence were the Pilots run off the plane... i have that track and i have to mash up with the one from the Lego...

Hello, i am all new on this wonderfull forum, my questions go to Indiana Jones scores specialists.

Since years, i downloaded many versions of Indy 1-2-3 scores, official or not. And honestly, i am totally lost with the amount of avaible music for the trilogy ! I would want to burn on several audio cds the most complete versions of the scores in best quality but i really don't know which one to choose... Some have sfx and are complete, some not but are uncomplete, some have a bad quality and so on, some are remastered, some are live recordings and so on... It is an endless labyrinth !

For example, i just downloaded the Temple of doom "Definitive edition" just above. Even there was obviously a lot of work on this release, there are still too much sfx to burn it, as far as i am concerned of course.... Last year, i downloaded a really nice version of Temple of doom called by the author "Ultrafyingly Cool Edition". Althougth 40 minutes of the score and source music are missing, i never found a sfx free version as complete as this one.

There are similar releases by the same author for Indy 1 & 3 called "Ultimately Righteous Edition" and "Unbelievably Bodacious Edition". But unfortunatly, nothing is this world seems to be perfect concerning Indy scores and the author choosed to release 2 sets for the score, like the definitive edition above : A film and a music version. The problem is that i don't want to burn the entire 2 cds. Some tracks are alternate indeed but some are not, and to burn everything is redundant in my opinion. I would only want to burn a bonus cd containing the alternate tracks, plus some extra pieces grabbed everywhere on internet (live performance, suites, ...) as it is usually done. And i don't have the time and the energy to listen and sort eveything honestly...

So i have a really simple request, maybe the real specialists here could help :

1) Are these versions - for those who know and already listened them - are for now THE DEFINITIVE ONES TO BURN ???

2) If not, do someone know versions of the 3 scores with these conditions :
a) NO SFX AT ALL.
b) A best possible quality.

Hello, i am all new on this wonderfull forum, my questions go to Indiana Jones scores specialists.

Since years, i downloaded many versions of Indy 1-2-3 scores, official or not. And honestly, i am totally lost with the amount of avaible music for the trilogy ! I would want to burn on several audio cds the most complete versions of the scores in best quality but i really don't know which one to choose... Some have sfx and complete, some not but are uncomplete, some have a bad quality and so on, some are remastered, some live interesting version exist... It is a real labyrinth !

For example, i just downloaded the Temple of doom "Definitive edition" just above. Even there was obviously a lot of work on this release, there are still too much sfx to burn it, as far as i am concerned of course.... Last year (if my memory is good), i downloaded a really nice version of Temple of doom called by the author " Ultrafyingly Cool Edition". Althougth 40 minutes of the score and source music are missing, i never found a sfx free version as complete as this one.

There are similar releases by the same author for Indy 1 & 3 called ""Ultimately Righteous Edition" and "Unbelievably Bodacious Edition".

So i have a really simple request, maybe the fans here could help :

1) Are these versions - for those who know and already listened them - are for now THE DEFINITIVE ONES TO BURN ???
2) If not, do someone know versions of the 3 scores with these conditions :
a) NO SFX AT ALL.
b) A best quality possible.
c) The most numbers of tracks inside : normal, alternates, live tracks, ... To sum up, all that can be found :).
d) IN FILM ORDER for normal tracks.

I have the versions with the LEAST SFX, A version with no SFX at all does not exist.

Get the definitive one for temple of doom, that one is pretty much an isolated score of the entire movie and basically the same for the last crusade except that one hasn't been updated and uses the bootlegs with not the best sound quality.

As far as sfx are concerned the guy has done his best and they are not too noticeable, obviously for the unreleased stuff your never gonna find it sfx free and also there's not much IMO with sfx that's worth worrying about.

Then just don't burn it lol but the temple of doom one is really the best representation of the score IMO.

Yes there is some in that bootleg. That website took alot of the loose ends from young indiana jones and made it into a fifth album. The Vlad the impaler episode score has been avalible for some time as a composer bootleg i think, I know its been out there for atleast 4 years or so. But like I said that site took all the tidbits out there and made it its own album.

Juts as an additionnal info though, the Concord "Temple of Doom" has the end title wrong pitched as well as a track called "The villagers" (or something like this). The pitch/speed for the End title is easy to find out, using the ost version for matching... And convenient: you just have to apply the same speed-pitch to "the villagers" and you get it ! (compare to an isolated score - even though it may be an alt version if I remember well). ;) I don't think this has been already mentioned anywhere, sorry if it's already been.

My edits (of Indy) have pretty much everything.

Some sources are better than others and even though: much of it need to be at least equalized better than the originals. How you do it is important to mention, cause you can't be a purist about such composers without being a purist about sound. If you put side by side tracks from the DCC Raiders, the ost and the concord they won't sonically match (the mixes, the cleanliness, the dynamic, and even the pitches...). Also if you multi-process your music in 16-Bit you'll lose bits or dither it too much. I won't talk about such work as I did in my sig, that was humbly made; but take a look at Sonicadventure's threads around. Haven't listened to his work but I'm sure that's a blast reading the description.

It's not just a matter of having it "complete". It must be it ! ;-)

hey.... in the unreleased part of the credits of temple of doom, in every .mp3 i heard, something is missing, listen the film version with all the channels and there are some flutes, if you pay attention and put your headphones you can heard it the same thing happens in the end of the Willie�s Part of the Return to the Village, is a little faster... percussions are lost if the voice is off... very sad...

With Demonoid shut down and were still waiting for the complete definitive score for Last Crusade since we already have Raiders and Temple Of Doom. I am in contact with the guy who did those two and is working on Last Crusade. I'm going to try and post it here once I get word from him that it's complete.

You're right, there are still missing cues from last crusade, like the Indian Intro with the logo of Paramount Picture on Indy's Very First Adventure, the Finale & End Credits from the Film Version, and again we can see again the Film/Expanded/Complete/Original score or even Recording Session... or i'm wrong...

yes, reup i havent heard from that game... and Someone have noted that end credits in the Temple Of Doom from the Film Version the unreleased one, have diferent drums after the Scene when Indy kisses Willy vanish completed and the screen gets black and only credits, the drums in some DVD copies and original, it can be heard another set of drums, more cleaned than other versions, like a band playing and can be heard how the drums make the noise when gets played, i don't know how to explain it, not all DVD's copies have that, an another goes more quickly the flutes in the cut segment when end the Raiders and start the Childrens Crusade in the End Credits... i have two Latinoamerican version of the movie and have that details that i have described.

Well, i will post them but they have Spanish Voices and SFX but, i'll upload them... and some of the Latinoamerican Raiders Version with voices, that will make that some of the users work of them, i had work them in my audicity but i dont get the perfect one...

Hi. The audio is excellent - just as good as a proper release of the soundtrack I'd say - although i have been listening in the car so perhaps some of the nuance is lost. But I'd say to my ears it's very very good. The track listing doesn't bear much relation to the double CD contents however - I need to sit down with the film and give the tracks new names I suspect. But what you will be pleased with is the sheer volume of unreleased music - it's a completely different listening experience to the rather bland ost release. Hope that helps.
