The titles are exactly as they appear in the game, accompanied by official OST titles in the comments (especially handy for the medleys)
In the Grouping tag is the game from which the song comes from.
The composers for nearly every song are given.
If you sort by year, you can see which songs were arranged for Brawl.
The vocal songs feature lyrics along with line by line translations.
Every track has different album art, a relevant screenshot from the official smashbros website.

Yes, those tracks are marked Nintendo since that is as close as it's going to get, unless Nintendo ever does release an OST or does another live concert. I really hope they do. That reminds me, I found out the arrangers that people didn't know about for most of the Melee tracks by an image scan of Smashing Live. I really have combed the Internet in making these albums.

See? People are appreciative. You just get many of the hardened "I WANT MY INFORMATION NOW" type of internet people who want what they want and don't care about who's getting it. Sort of like a rich brat. I guess it's the type of people the internet breeds. With information easily accessible at the point and click of the mouse, people seem to forget that there are humans behind the screen digging up said information. I guess all the rules of morals and ethics stop at the modem. =/ Well, I guarantee you, at least on my behalf, that the sound effects are being put to good use and not into a flash movie of ZSS getting boned by some character or another.

Also, I figured out a way to record some sounds. I ripped all the Primid sounds but I have to separate them from the big sound file. If I do put them up, will you accept them(also, they are really good quality)?

I have managed to get a hold of the Japanese sounds from a torrent. It contained all of the Japanese voices along with the characters' sound effects. It also includes sounds and voices of the Assist Trophies, Pok�mon and the bosses, along with sounds from the stages. I have uploaded it in the way that I have received it.

Why not release one huge sound pack?
This way you would only have one file to deal with instead of dozens of these little character packs.

I have no idea. They probably are hidden somewhere in the stage data, however, I wasn't able to find the music which plays at Luigi's Negative Zone, etc., as well. I guess they're somewhere in the actual data of the stages or characters, not in their soundfiles.

Can I just say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in the making of this; it's been about 2 weeks on and off when I can find the time here and there, downloading every track and going through every single one, checking them on various websites, making sure every artist and title tag is correct as possible (yes, I do care that much :P), and now I've finally finished, can put the finishing touches on it, like add the artwork, add it to my MP3 player, and of course, actually listen to it without worrying whether it's being scrobbled online incorrectly!

The soundtrack is an incredible, incredible "greatest hits" of everything past and present Nintendo, and even other game companies, etc, and every single track feels like it's been produced and performed to it's utmost. And the end result is breathtaking for a "compilation", let alone a game. So a huge thank you to all of the composers and artists as well of course. :) Not a single note of your work has gone unappreciated in my eyes (well, ears).

Thanks again to the people on this forum though that put in the time to fully collate and tag this. That's real dedication.

This is THE best thread of Smash Bros music ever created, thanks to you guys.

Okay, I updated the first post. Although I didn't upload any of those things yet (this will happen tomorrow), I think this will be way better than it was before. Way more organized and ordered, not so confusing.

I finally got me to remove the dummy sounds from the SFXs of all characters and readying them for upload. I didn't tag them, but I doubt that would be necessary.

However: Link, Pit and Meta Knight have different filenames than the other characters, and a few of their dummy sounds had not the same filesize than the "usual" dummy sounds. You most likely will find empty sound data in their SFX-folders.

Hey. Is there anyway someone can upload JUST the stage themes? You know... the songs that play on the stages when you have a Brawl. They're also found in the game itself in under the Options in "My Music."

Unfortunately... I need them ALL, too, because I can't unlock all the music, and, even though I know of some stage themes I want/like, there might be more stage themes I might like, so, I need them ALL.

Can someone help me out here and/or point me in the right direction to where I can find JUST the stages themes? And ALL of them?

Or is it something else? The site says the link is down because of an "unexpected hardware failure", and I can't understand what they mean by it.

And no track 12.

If you would read the POSTS, then you'd maybe realize that these missing tracks are missing, as Nintendo has removed them - all of these numbers missing in all kinds of packs.
The music has been directly ripped out of the game. There is nothing in there which is left, and noone has forgotten to add a track to it. They are NOT THERE.

I'm trying to DL a some of the songs but it keeps coming up with some encoding error. Do I have a Virus or are other people getting this too. the first few I DLed including the Fox, Mario, Fire emblem and a few others were working before but now starting yesterday they all started giving me this annoying encoding error when I got to DL. even the ones I mentioned that I DLed already were failing. and btw a few of those sound packs have expired really now. it even said. I'm not requesting re-upload. just letting you know. but I would like a bit of help with the stupid Encoding error. cause I did virus check so I'm not sure whether my comp is being stubborn I'm having a bad weekend, Firefox 3 is failing ironically more than Internet explorer (cause that only comes up with cannot find address. although that is still an error) or there is really something wrong...

I downloaded the files twice with my N95, and it somehow couldn't extract the .wav-files right...

I downloaded them with my computer again, and they worked. Thank you.

I saw the other thread for SSBB and it looks like its dead. All links lead no where. Anyway, even if it was up it looks to me like this one was far better designed and had more thought put into it. Not to mention its an off-site link to top that. Hmm, hopefully the point has been made clear from previous posts but just wanted to add in my two cents as someone who hasn't been active here. Just had a random question, looking through I didn't see that anyone asked and this seemed like the fastest way to get an answer. I know that these voice packs are taken directly from the game, but I was curious as to the difference in final smashes.

For example, in the game's sound test there is an echo behind most of the final smash sayings and in the voice packs (like it says) its just the voice. So I guess what I am ultimately asking is if there is a way to get the voices with the echo sampling behind them or a way to put that behind it that I may be able to do myself.

Namely, if it matters, I was looking to get a hold of "Great Aether", "PK Starstorm" - Lucas, and "We're gonna have fun with this thing" in a mp3 format. Sorry if this was asked before and I just looked over it.

Hiya! Tis my first posting on this odd site... I can't get the Shooting Stars link to work. It says that both the Mediafire and the rapidshare/whatever the first link is isn't working.

The SFX & Voices of Downloads of Non-Playable Character Tracks (starting with the Download Pack called "Items" and going down) can't be Downloaded from FileFactory. FileFactory says either they were deleted by the uploader, or they expired. Anyone else having this problem? Can someone get these Download Packs up and running again?

Edit: Nevermind, I checked and they are not there and the link to the Lost Tracks (EditorArtist.Com, I believe) causes my Anti-Virus to flare up.....unless it was a false positive or something.
