Finally finished the game !!! Awesome by the way, and the ending was really well done in my opinion.

Who is the composer?

I wouldn't bother putting in all the effort you are - when you beat the game, you can access the sound test. Just record all the songs from there, and you'll also see all their official names and the proper order that way.

Impossible .. did not know that .. certainly would make things alot easier, as Ive been playing with my DS hooked up to my sound card all day, just in case I come across a new sound I can immedietly record it.

Well, Im 5+ hours into it, and still only about 5 or 6 trax recorded, but I'll put this on hold until I can access the Sound selection.

In case you are all still interested, I now have 15 tracks recorded (16th in process) and am nearing the end of the game.

11 hours invested, and its about to be wrapped up. Havent accessed the sound menu, but I'll up the tracks I have ripped from in-game 1st, then see how much better/different the sound menu is. Might do a rip of that also, but first I wanted to finish the set Im doing now.

The track I really want is Professor Layton's theme. You'll have to record that from the sound test, because the only time it plays in the game from what I remember is in a cutscene with lots of sound effects.

Nice. after listening to Layton's theme I always thought it was 2 different music.

I've just started to play Professor Layton and The Curious Village on my DS and I've got to say, at first I was a little suspicious at the quality of the cartoony and silly characters not to mention I'm not much of a puzzle person, but when I started the game I was hooked at the song that plays at the Title Screen =).

Thanks so much for posting the soundtrack here, but I'll definitely dedicate myself to completing the game as well xD.

Thank you so much for this! I just finished the game and had to see if there was a copy of Professor Layton's theme out there XD. I was impressed by this game's ending compared to other mystery puzzle games I've played. I can't wait now for the sequel!

After playing Prof. Layton 2 (Layton Kyouju to Akuma no Hako) I can tell you it's got a much better soundtrack, and a much better story. I'd like to see that uploaded.

It's much better in my opinion, since I don't have to wait in some virtual 'line' (Like MegaUpload of RapidShare) to get a file. FileFactory has no ridiculous waiting line.
