Many of them do not like Tyler's music, specially this score.
Tyler's music is more aggressive with percussions and we could not ask him to be a Jerry Goldsmith or a John Williams...

Thats why I get frustrated, and I want more positive comments, and if you have read that board for awhile you would know theres alot of jerks over there, I really dont mean to get into it with them but sometimes I fall prey.

sd :)

Im really not new over there, just have changed my screen name , Ive been a regular on that board for many many years. Nothing is going to change them.
I can get my positive comments here and elsewhere.

It's alike Hans Zimmer's music; This is not classical music but it's working perfectly.

Thanks very much, I'll give this a listen and see how Tyler did -- should be interesting to hear a modern interpretation of the kind of music that made the original movies so popular.

Tracks 01/19/20 are Rambo's popular themes (but not poetic as Goldsmith's ones), others one are Tyler's style.

Yeah, so I see. I think it's quite appropriate for the style of the film though, so I would consider it a successful soundtrack effort.

Thanks a lot for sharing! :)

Really great music, one of the best Tyler's works.
Not as well as the Goldsmith's Rambo but surely the first must have of 2008.

Best. American. Action Movie. Ever.

Not sure what the rules here regarding shameless self promotion are around here, but I thought anyone interested in videogames and movies (particularly Rambo) might be interested in checking out a little podcast I'm a part of called Robotronic Dynamite (http://www.robotronicdynamite.com). This week we gush over how amazing this movie was, but typically we have a split format between videogames and movie discussion, so check us out!

Thanks for sharing!

There's a weird hiss/clicking sound that runs through this entire score. It's very low, but it's definitely there -- particularly in quieter moments, and in the silence at the beginning and end of each track. It's most apparent while using headphones.

Is that intentional, or is it a flaw in the rip?
