Being the bored person that I am, I decided to take all of the stories I knew and combine them together into a huge hacky bash I like to call "Shrine: Rebirth" Does this have anything to do with FFShrine...? I dunno, I just wrote it =P.

So heres the first 2 chapters...

Chapter One: Rebirth

It was a cold winter�s night; the whole neighborhood was at its usual quiet night mode while I am walking around in a sector named Zeto 5. After the Shrine collapsed for almost 5 years, I�ve decided to go around to other cities, looking for work. My machine ran out of power and I was stranded in Zeto 5.

5 years ago, the place that was once known as the Shrine has fallen. After the war of 2101 AD, the leader of the Toaplan army, Cats, has defeated the head of the Shrine, Ethereal. After this event, Cats left the Shrine in a burning pile of ashes, many were killed or missing. A lot had no where else to go� I was one of them.

During the last 5 years, I was wondering around the areas of Zeto, trying to find a job. I maintained a healthy life but I wouldn�t say the same thing about my mind. See, one person who was apart of the killed list was my best friend, KupekG�. He was to marry my sister, Alma, however, since he was killed in the War of 2101, Alma decided to kill herself, saying that if she can never marry him in this life, she will be there for the next. I was very upset about this but I gathered everything up and continued with life.

After getting a job as a delivery person for 4 years, I decided to quit� seeing that almost every shipment I had sent had a bomb tacked on by unknown people. Eh, screw the Heinz Company with their ketchup, I decided to move on. I had enough money to support myself and live in Zeto 4 without a job for awhile but I had to get another job before I run out of cash.

Then I heard the Shrine is going to be rebuilt again under a new leader. The new Shrine was going to be located in Sector Oberon, which is in the other side of the world from where I am. I decided that if I�m gonna get back to the Shrine, I need to get money for the ride.

Now here I am, looking for a job to get my ass over there. Now that my machine broke down, I think I�ll just head towards the bar and get a drink� damn piece of crap.

Chapter 2: Orders...

I walked into the bar; it seemed to be a friendly place. I sat down on one of the stools and ordered a beer. The female bartender looked familiar� she looked strong and has some huge ass boobs. I decided just focus on my drink, that is until a guy sat beside me, looked very depressed from my point of view.

I took a sip of my drink, he ordered a beer and just held the mug, he looked like he was apart of a space shipment crew. I asked him what the matter was, he looked at me with a frown, he turned to his beer, took a sip, and told me like an open book.

�I� killed someone.� He said hesitantly. �I didn�t� I� I was only following orders.�

�They ordered you to kill someone?� I asked. �Not kill� jettison in the middle of space.�

�Ah� I see. Another person trying to hitch a free ride on one of those ships. It�s kinda sad that regular fossil fuel has to be used to power those ships.� I took another sip of my beer.

�That person was the most beautiful girl I have ever met�� he said. �She was perfect, her personality, her kindness, everything. You see, she snuck on the ship to meet with her brother in this planet. She didn�t know anything about ships and why fuel needed to be saved, she just snuck on.�

�With fossil fuel near it�s end, it�s surprising we still use it. The ships themselves only have so much fuel that one person can slow the ship down to the point where they might not be able to make it.�

�But she was only one person� with her weight, we could probably make it.�

�That�s what they said about the last ship� remember?�

�I was worried about that happening� but that was just bad luck.�

�I doubt it was, they were 3000 miles short of this planet. Now they are just floating around in space, probably dead by now.�

���

�So, tell me more about this girl.�

�Well, I found her in the back while patrolling the storage area of the ship. I heard something and she came out, like it was a game. I knew that I was supposed to jettison all invalid passengers. I didn�t want to, I was scared. I called my captain on my radio, I told him the details and that she was only a 16 year old who snuck on the ship. The captain hesitated with his answer. He told me that all invalid passengers are to be jettisoned from the ship, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. He said with the weight we have now with her on, we might not be able to make it home. I had to do it� but I couldn�t do it. She looked at me with her bright eyes, smiling. I told her the whole story about it, she started crying and weeping. The captain called me again, asking if I�ve done it yet. I told him to be on hold.�

�Then what happened?�

�I told her that we might not be able to survive if she were to stay on the ship, the odds were really small. She agreed to get in the pod, which was used to throw things out into space. I sealed the pod� ejected her out into space and told my captain that I�ve done my job.�

�Hmm� I see��

�Yeah�� He started to cry, I took him to the restroom to cool off. I had more stuff to do, I drank the rest of my beer and started to walk home back to Zeto 4. I looked up and I saw a shooting star in the sky. I remember when they found stars to have spirits of passed people in them� I guess that�s her star.
