hate to sound like a killjoy, but was it necessary to rip the songs from Gradius Galaxies/Generation/Advance? The songs were'nt all that memorable, not to mention the music quality was less than stellar since it sounded like an old-school Gameboy game.

thank you ShaqZero, me i loved the game on gba & i always enjoy playin'it on my ds, much apreciated, not the better gradius ever done but the atmosphere is there, the music is good :) yes GOOD, some various alternated gradius themes that you cannot find in any other gradius.

:smrt:

EDIT: i'm not sure, but it's seems i remenber to see some of the gba gradius in an official soundtrack, which, maybe, sound better than mine... i don't know

maybe that a direct rip sound better to... one day if i have time for that, i try to compare the result between those & the direct rip...

I have to thank you as well! No this is not the best sounding music, but I've been on a quest for years to create the ultimate Gradius OST collection and this was one of the very hardest ones to find. I'm sure lots of people like myself appreciate what you've done. Thanks so much!

I disagree. I think Galaxies is a fine game that was a nice change of pace from the brutal difficulty of III & IV. Also, the tunes were nice for the game - they fit well. Nice post!

Well, frankly, Gradius Generations/Galaxies is my favorite Gradius game (Manages to make Gradius fun, better than the others I've played.). I know I'm performing thread necromancy, but I just wanted to thank you for the rip.
