Ok, here's the ost for Legion for the Turbo Grafx CD.
http://www.filefactory.com/file/232b02/

There are some things you need to know about the soundtrack. First, most songs are PSG(chip music) instead of Redbook(CD). Also, originally, in this game, all the PSG is on one channel, that's right, it's only on ONE channel, I have no idea why. My copy is not defective...the programmers responsible for this game ARE defective however, LOL. Instead of keeping them on one speaker, I made them mono, so you can hear them on both channels.

There are also different versions of the same songs, almost as if they split the audio of one song, in two to make alternate single channel versions, very wierd. So, I went to the trouble to combine these alternate versions to make full stereo versions, & they sound quite nice. Alot nicer then the songs that play ingame, so I included these in the ost as well. There's a few that had alternate slow versions, I included all of them, but 2 of those are so horrible, I labled them as crap, & put them at the end of the ost. Also, there is a buttload of songs, that just aren't used in the game, so, I included those as well! One of those was so horrible, I also labled it crap & put it at the end of the ost. The crap is there if you want it, I wasn't going to include it, but, just incase, I included them :)

Also, there are missing levels, namely G & J. They are listed in the level select, but, are listed as not being available. And I beat the game thru every path, those levels just don't exist. There are a few songs, that aren't used in the game, that sound like stage music, so I labled them as such.

This game, is a wierd monstrosity, & I don't know what they were smoking when they made it. But, I hope you appreciate all the work I put into brining this ost to the public, it was a pain to work with. A friend of mine is a PC Engine coder, he's thinking about taking a look into the code of this game, to see why it's so jacked up.

Also, there were 4 PSG versions of the Title Screen (which is redbook), I took those 4 songs, & made 2 nicer sounding songs.

Updated the link :) Simon B., I think you mean "worst" shmup, not "worth". And yes, the game is pretty terrible!

I recently remembered I had seen this thread before and thought I would search it out to see about requesting a re-up, even though I've heard Simon B. doesn't post much these days. To my surprise, the file was still available on mediafire, after over a year.

You are right Simon, your copy was not defective, this game is a beast of a creation. To be fair the gameplay is pretty (extremely) bad. It also happens to be the first pc engine game I ever got, along with Browning and Avenger. However, it can't be denied that the music, at the very least the redbook audio, is damn unique. I personally really like the psg songs too. The whole soundtrack really just has a mysterious quality, and it fits perfectly with this mystery of a game.

Thank you so much for sharing these files with us. Now maybe I can make a truly complete cd. I would have been interested to hear your programmer friend's analysis of this game's code.
