Also, anyone know how to get all the Enemy skills for the 4th E-Skill materia (the one from Sage’s chocobo) cause Aqualung, laser, trine and a coupla others are missing and I dont know of anyone this late in the game I can get them off.
Laser I think is another one that’s only available in Corel, in the Desert Prison in the area just before you fight Dyne.
Trine is easy. There are a number of creatures which use this. Probably the place to go is the Great Glacier, inside Gaea’s Cliff. You’ll find Stilvas there, manipulate them to get them to use Trine.
You can Find a Harpy if you have chocobo Lure Materia equiped and Wander around on The Chocobo Tracks Near corel Desert, You should Be Able to Manipulate The Harpy For Aqualung.
It is possible to get back to the cliff, but you may need a green chocobo as I’m not sure you can do the snowboard minigame again to get there.
idk
Yes, Harpy Should Appear With A Chocobo.
-NOTE-
The Serpents in the Downed Plane also use Aqualung, but very very rarely.
Trine is a very rare skill. Only 3 enemies use it, and only during ONE battle each. They are:
Materia Keeper (Mt. Nibel)
Stilva (Gaea’s Cliff)
Godo (Wutai)
-NOTE-
As the MK and Stilva are fought BEFORE acquiring the Airship and hence, the 4th Enemy Skill Materia, you must save the fight with Godo until after you aquire the Highwind.
Pandora’s Box will activate after you kill your first Dragon Zombie. It will only cast it once, (unless your first encounter is with two Dragon Zombies, and you kill them both at the same time, which there is a 0.001% chance of it being cast 2 times simultaneously). You can, however, revert to a previous save and try again.
Laser is learnt from an enemy in the Desert Prison in disc 1 as well as from a Dark / Blue Dragon in the Northern Cave. You must learn Laser at least twice from a Dark / Blue Dragon.
-NOTE-
Dark Dragons also carry Dragon Force. Manipulate is needed for this, but not necessarily for Laser.
One other I might mention that is quite tedious to learn: Magic Breath. The two enemies that use this are:
Parasite (The Crater)
Stilva (Gaea’s Cliff)
-NOTE-
Must be learned from Parasite at least once, as Stilva is fought before the Highwind is acquired.
Any others, just ask.
Posted to say this, excluding "very very rarely." I found it quite common.
Regardless, this monster might be your best bet as the rate of encounters in the cargo room is biased in his favour.
Then again I don’t remember bothering with harpy.
