What is it?
My favorite is in Pokemon red and blue and maybe yellow where you talk to this guy who gives you a tutorial of how to catch pokemon, and then immediately after you fly to Cinnabar island and surf along the east shore. You can find crazy monsters like missingno's and haunter at like level 126 and even 0.
The only problem is that those monsters with levels of over a hundred go down levels instead of up. Weird!

personal fav is the weapon clone in FFT ............. Yay dual wealding Rune Blades!!!
The Glitches in Big Rigs off road racing are just soo laughable, I had to mention them, I mean spinning on the ground and in the air at insane speeds, driving through buildings, going up mountains at a 90 degree angle and disappearing through the bridges and appearing at the other side.

I hd gone to pick up Halo 3 at the midnight launch, I went home and started playing. In the first mission, near the beginning there is a series of ledges that you have to jump onto. So as I jump onto the second ledge, Master Chief suddenly falls to the ground dead. No sign of enemies, or blasts from a jackal sniper. First time I die in that game and it's glitch. It's rather embarassing... But it's only happened once so it must be a rare glitch.

i both agree and disagree with this.
i disagree because the over lvl100 pokemon are crap and anyone who uses them to battle other players is lame.
but i agree because you can use this to get unlimited of any item in the 6th slot in your inventory. i put gold nuggets, and the best healing potions in there for uber money while not needing money no more. lol
but then i realized i didn't need it cause during my 1257th fight with the elite four i realized i had all the money i wanted already. :p
anyway. my favoritest glitch of all time is...
in mortal kombat II, play as johnny cage, have a friend play as shang tsung, and time johnny's crotch punch to shang's morphing to a girl character and watch his character glitch into a endless screaming impact animation where she flailes her amrs back over and over and over and over and over again.
it's hilarious.

I forgot that was part of the glitch, a really good part of it. catching the missingno's will screw with your game but killing them gets infinite of the 6th slot item. I guess there is an up and down side to it. I used that to get infinite master balls to could catch any pokemon I wanted to.

In Metroid Prime there's a tunnel in the Tallon overworld with a crack in the ceiling you can jump through. Takes you off the game map to a whole new world. Took several tries but it was worth it. *thumbs up!*

I owned a retarded Mad Catz memory card for the PS1. I turned on FFT and my Ramza character was totally glitched, I had saved it just before the Wiegraf fight in Riovanes. Ramza had two Knight Swords equipped one was Save the Queen, and he had two bows, one was Ultimus and the other was Windslash. It hasn't happened since but it was pretty interesting.

The glitch in NES games where if you walk to the end of the screen, you'll see the other half of the character on the other side of the screen. Lols
Ocarina of Time when you backflip over the Temple of Time altar, play Saria's Song, talk to Saria and then return to normal view; Navi is stuck in the air and doesn't follow you. Hahaha.

That's called a "Death Barrier". Bungie but them throughout the maps in both campaign and multiplayer to prevent players from going outside the map. The final two maps that were released for Halo 2 is full of them and some are put into the most stupidest of places. There was this one I found that was in the wall on a platform. There was no way to get out of the map from there, but as soon as I landed on it, I died. Pretty gay if you ask me. That's what made Halo 2 more enjoyable was that you can get out of the map and explore.
My favorite glitches would be the super jumps in Halo 2, Missingno. from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, evolving Missingno. into Mew, debug menus in the FF games, and everything a gameshark can provide.

How about the jumping around the corner on right-most wall/side of castle to get on the roof of the castle in Mario 64? or is that not a glitch? I must be simple either way.
and how is catching mew legitimately a glitch?

GTA:VC has the best glitches, Theres a glitch where if you jump around enough you go 6 inches- 3 feet underground. There's also a weapon glitch. You put in the get weapon cheat, cycle your weapons while firing them, and stop on your bare fists (swing a blow), and switch to a handgun, you'll fire with an imaginary gun. It's funny because his hands are shaped like he's holding a gun but nothing is there. Imaginary guns with real fucking bullets ha! To get theses glitches you have to be ass deep in cheats.

Vice city does have some great glitches and awesome cheats also. I remember finding this glitch by accident where I drove this motorcycle into this small doorway and it got stuck. Then I tried jumping over the motorcycle in the doorway because there is also a small room inside you can fit in.
What ends up happening if you get it right is you fall through the ground and then eventually get dropped off outside the building with the doorway. You lose a little bit of health from the fall though.

I love Vice city's invisible pixels. Scale some walls you'll find them, I remember I jumped up a 2 or 3 story building. Invisible pixels are when you think the wall is flat but if you angle it right you'll land, and you'll look like you're standing in mid-air.

Maybe in the REmake of RE1 for GC, where you can switch around the items in your box and end up with like 255 grenade launcher rounds. The best part is that it happened to me when I first played through the game when I was trying to organize my box and combine like types of grenade ammo. I saw that i had about 255 flame rounds and I was so happy.

I think the Shadow of the Colossus bug where if you jump only in diagonals you don't lose any stamina? That's my favourite. Start a new game and you can just to straight to the secret garden. Takes a LONG fucking time to get up there though XD

You mean start a new game + ? Otherwise that fifth of screen width of stamina you get from a new new game can't get you to the first ledge..that garden sucked too. What was the point of that, no colossus, vacant places with no bosses are only good in FFXI when travelling the map.
Nazi Cinnamon Spider
12-14-2007, 12:28 AM
No, you don't need a New Game+. That's the beauty of the glitch, if you only do diagonal jumps you can make it the entire way up because your stamina won't decrease.
Arcanine
12-14-2007, 12:40 AM
Surely you jest. It doesn't decrease as much but it does decrease..
Nazi Cinnamon Spider
12-14-2007, 12:53 AM
It's all about the timing. If you stay still, it decreases slowly. If you jump diagonally, it doesn't decrease at all. That's the glitch. Therefore, if you basically go from jump to jump to jump, and so forth, you can get to the secret garden from a brand new game, at the beginning.
Arcanine
12-14-2007, 12:56 AM
Never noticed that, I mean the control from contact to impact on anything in that game is sluggish whether you're being floored by a colossus or jumping onto that vine wall from Agro.
You're talking about sequentially jumping, like dodging lightning bolts for Lula's weapon in FFX, can't try it though cause I don't have the game anymore but I'll youtube it to see.
Nazi Cinnamon Spider
12-14-2007, 01:05 AM
You can do it with a small pause between jumps, but the more you can string together without a massive pause, the longer you'll be able to go without using any stamina.
I think the glitch exists in all versions; mine is original release AU PAL, but that shouldn't make a difference. We did get to hear Swift Horse (the music track) played in the game though, which was cool :D
Arcanine
12-14-2007, 01:16 AM
Ok, yeah it showed somebody doing just that but he still lost fractions of stamina, so long as that pulse from the center doesn't reach the outer edge of the remaining stamina circle.
Never heard that track either. But I live in the US and I just go to any store, Walmart, Electronics Boutique, Gamestop and just get the game, no imports or chips, I mean how do you enjoy something you can't read or understand the language?
Nazi Cinnamon Spider
12-14-2007, 01:27 AM

Yeah, I did manage to get out after keep jumping around manically. I think it had to do with the camera angle. It's like it couldn't keep up with me and lost track of where I was. After that, I just appeared inside of the planet! You could see your shadow on the outside too which was odd.

This isn't necessarily a good glitch, but it is kinda funny. In Phantasy Star 4, unless you do it just right, when your characters begin to reach lvl 99, weird things will start to happen and they will begin to delevel and their stats will begin to mix to the point where androids like Wren start to get TP and magic.

The paint brush glitch in Oblivion: Elder Scrolls on Xbox 360. Hours of fun...if you can get it right.
Unlike other items, they don't move at all when dropped...so just stay in the air. >_> Then you just climb on them (very little space to do so) drop another, and climb to extreme heights. This gives access to weird, random areas and lets you stand high up randomly.

I just had this weird thing happen while playing revenant wings. Once the battle started, The screens on the DS would suddenly switch and I had the map on the bottom and the people on the top screen.
I was only able to control the camera view and couldn't command any of my people at all. After that battle, I tried it on another area and the same thing happened.

When playing Fifa Manager 2006 if I may not wrong, your player can score from long range towards the goal and the keeper only just looking the ball like an idiot and didn't even try to catch or touch it.
Now there's this one where it looks like you're wasted when you get outside The Ark level in Halo 3.

my 3 favorite glitches:
In Super Mario Galaxy, go to the Deep Dark Galaxy inside the Garden and use the cannon but launch yourself towards a planet similar to the Gateway Galaxy at the beginning of the game. Go to the house with a blue roof and crouch to enter it, Mario will be stuck inside the house. While inside the house, if you use the camera mode, this will happen:
In Super Mario Galaxy 2, go the nose of Starship Mario and hop on Yoshi's back, then find the warp pad that leads to the Starshroom. Enter the warp pad and quickly press B, if done correctly, Yoshi's tongue will become really long but dont worry, press B again and it will go back to normal.
In Super Mario Galaxy 2, you can die in the credits (you must have 120 stars and defeated Bowser inside Bowser's Galaxy Generator). To do this, wait for the scene to show Tall Trunk Galaxy with a Bee Mushroom (you MUST grab the Bee Mushroom or the glitch wont work). When the scene switches to Freezy Flake Galaxy, you should be holding A and if done correctly, this will happen:

You can do the same thing but with one life left to get the "Game Over" screen.
