I feel like the General Final Fantasy Forum is dying down. I think we need a thread where we really discuss the general Final Fantasy, like how it has evolved, and how do you think it's going to be in the future. This is where we discuss things we like or don't like about all the Final Fantasies, and other things you might want to discuss that applies to ALL Final Fantasies, not just a specific one... or you could do that too, if you want. Just try to keep the subject towards all the Final Fantasies.

Basically, we talk about the general Final Fantasy.

In my opinion, the Final Fantasies are really evolving at a fast pace. It seemed only yesterday that we were watching Squall wield his gunblade in the last FFVIII battle in not very advanced graphics, and now, here we are watching Vaan and the party beat Vayne Solidor with FMV-look-alike graphics. Sometimes, I couldn't even tell if it was an FMV or just a regular cutscene, and no I don't think I'm blind.

Now that FFXIII is coming up with other games in PS3(FFXIII Compilation), the graphics are sure to be more advanced. I wonder if we could still tell if it's FMV or not.

Not only that, the plots of FF's have changed. We used to have loner heroes who meet women and suddenly have a change of heart. Now we have empires to be saved, stories of betrayal, and more serious plots. I wonder what XIII is going to be like?

Actually it seems like that was about 7 or 8 years ago.

13 will have a loner except it will be a girl(Lightning) meeting that guy with a bandana that looks like ff8s siefer, this is just my theory
