I picked up GHIII a few days ago for the wii, so i'm making this topic in case anyone wants to play some time. Post your friend codes or whatever. (I'll post mine when I discover it!)
sorry im one of the unfortunate ones who chose the 360.

Guitar Hero is out for the wii? well i never
and i'm of the type that got it for the ps2. :(
no online fun for me. :(
i'd still like to take advantage of this thread though as i would love to discuss ghIII with other people.
first of all. let me just start off with I think ghIII has more unlockable guitars than II or I. in III, not only do you get the regular 2 guitars per difficulty lvl, but now i think you also get another 2 for co-op!
i don't remmeber/know if ghII or I had co-op and if they had guitars. but if you beat ghII in co-op, you get totally diffrent guitars and my theory is theres also a second one for getting 5 stars on all the songs. so basically if you count co-op in, i think there are 4 guitars for every difficulty lvl!! that's awesome!
at the moment. i'm stuck in Hard difficulty on "one" by metallica. it's the very last song i need to beat to get the battle with lou or encore or wahtever and finish the game on hard. damn it's hard. >.< i always fail at 80% of the song. you'll know why if you've done it. today was amazing though because i fianlly beat "Raining Blood"!! i was stuck on that song too for a long time and today somehow i beat it not only once but TWICE! i finally got through that insane section early in the song with the pull-off's. it was awesome.
that's where i'm at right now. after that i might go back to completing all the co-ops cause i don't think i can do 5 stars on hard. O_o either that or i'll go back to GHII and finish off 5 stars on hard there instead cause i think it's easier and cause i never finished it.
anyone else stuck on any songs? waht difficulty? what you like best of the new ghIII? did you notice you CANT do hammer ons and pull-offs just anywhere anymore even if the notes are very close together? now you can only do them on the glowy notes! it's wierd but whatever. i think i like GHII's method better of being able to hammer/pull off any notes so long as their close together.
my friend says hammer/pull off's in ghI is harder than II but i don't know the diffrence yet. they seem the same.
anyway. talk about whatever. i'm loving this game. :p

I got Fire Emblem instead, sorry man.
Yeah Raining Blood is a beast on Expert. Really fun though. I blew through the game quite quickly and now I have nothing left but online play.
And Dragonforce....

Or you could replace the game with an actual guitar I suppose.

Yes, we're aware that playing guitar hero doesn't equal playing real guitar. We get it.
also: I still need to beat raining blood and one on hard. I haven't had much time to play lately.
alsoalso: aside from the hammer on thing, I really like the note charts in this one.
