I'm opening this thread for any information I can find on FFIX products. Does any one know of an online site (OTHER THAN EBAY!) that I could perhaps BUY (not bid, like on horrible ebay.com) some posters and shirts and other FFIX gear? So far, I'm to get the shirt, but have a Zidane and Vivi figure, a FFIX poster, and of course, the game. I'm looking for Garnet mechandise in particular! ^^
Note to mods: If there's already another thread like this, or this thread is inapropriate in any way, please do not hesitate to shut it down.

www.playonline.com, you have to register, but they've got most of the official merchandise.

Yeah, eBay and FFOnline's Shop are some good places to start looking for FFIX merchandise. Another good place for FFIX merchandise is a shop that I go to. It's where I got all my FFIX merchandise. Unfortunately it's a store here in Perth, Australia, so it'll be a bit hard to get to for you I'd imagine. Luckily they have a website at www.theempire.com.au . Even though it's an Australian store, I know for a fact they do international mail orders, so, it should be okay to order from. Right now, they only have some FFIX soundtracks, but they'll be getting in more merchandise soon.
As a guide, the following FFIX merchandise I purchased at the Empire:
Zidane and Vivi two-pack action figures
Steiner and Garnet two-pack action figures
Melodies of Life CD single
FFIX Original Soundtrack 4-disc set
FFIX Wall Scroll, featuring all the main characters with Alexandria in the background.
FFIX T-Shirt
FFIX Character Art Postcard Book
Apart from that, eBay and FFO are the only other places to look. Anyone else know any other places for FFIX merchandise?

Quote: "Heh, this is turning into quite a show." Amarant, FFIX.
Quote: "Get the hell off me, you scumbag!!" Garnet, trying unsuccessfully to intimadate Zorn and Thorn, FFIX.
Quote: "You know nothing, and that is all," Garland, FFIX.

Hmm... well, I got the Garnet, Zidane, Steiner, and Vivi figures in taiwan, and Hobby Link Japan (
http://www.hlj.com) has them, but Eiko, Freya, Quena, and Amarant are out of production.

There are several stores here that specialize in anime/japanese merchandise, so I've been lucky and managed to collect some pretty interesting FF9 merchandise over the past year or so. Plus I've received many things as gifts. I'm easy to shop for these days. Hehehe... ;)
The game (of course)
FF9 soundtrack (original 4-disc colleciton)
FF9 Plus soundtrack (FMV music)
FF9 Piano Collection
Melodies of Life single
Zidane poster
Dagger poster (both posters have anime-esque sketches on the side)
several keychain sets (all eight characters)
Zidane/Dagger figurine ("flirty Zid/Dag")
The action figures: Quina, Amarant, Vivi, Zidane, Dagger, Eiko, Freya, and Steiner.
UFO catchers: Zidane, Dagger, Vivi (I took this pic before finding Vivi)
My most "prized" FF9 items are these Zid and Dag pewter figures that I got as a gift.

Yes, I know. I'm sickeningly obsessed with the game. But this collection took me a year and a half to buid up. ;)

Wow!! I'd heard there were statues realeased, but I never found any info on them (the only one I did find out about was a Vivi bust that was meant to be released through Diamond Comics, only to be canceled at the eleventh hour (probably due to lack of interest). This is probably a stupid question Kurohime, but, how and where did you get those? I'm drooling all over my monitor at the moment, so, you know you're not the only obsessed FFIX fan out there!

Well... actually..... When the game first came out, they offered these to their employees. One particular Squarehead, knowing what a big fan of the game I was, well... a very special present soon made its way into my hands. :)
I managed to get lucky with the action figures, too. Went to a local software shop and a shipment of FF9 figures had just come in. Lucky for me, the Eiko, Amarant, Freya, and Quina were part of the shipment. As you can imagine, I snatched those up right away!
Hehehe... well, I feel better knowing you're obsessed, too!! ;)

That is so true Zidane! With the amount of action figures and FF/anime merchandise I own anyone would think I'm having a second childhood(oh, and I'm way past drinking age by the way!)! Everyone needs a hobby anyway.
