hey thats not all right, cloud is human when he went to soldier he was infused with mako that had jenova jeans in it and he grew a hell of a lot stronger from it. when he was in soldier he was in an accident that killed most of his memory of his past and so when zack told him about all of his missions, cloud later on grew to believe that those where really all his own and he told tifa about them. as the game says, when tiffa was attacked by seph in the reacter tha wasnt cloud who ran in to fight him first it was zack, cloud was the soldier that was on guard duty, he didnt even go in to the village with seph in the first place, zack did cloud was just a normal uniform soldier at that time. after cloud got out of soldier he and zack where traveling back to to medgar and they where ambushed by the shinra elite soldiers because zack had mortaly wounded seph in the fight when he ran in to safe tifa, tho seph lived shinra charged zack with the murder of there top fighter and they sent the soldiers to kill him, about a mile outside of medgar zack was killed and cloud barely got away. he latter went back to zacks body and took the buster blade, and promised to live out his own life and zacks. little did he no that zack and tifa where ingaged zack didnt tell cloud because he knew that clod loved her and was also going back to see her (letting cloud have her because cloud and tifa me first and where best friends) tifa and zack fell in love when they met at her home town and took the pic of her him and seph befor wshe lead them to the reacter that seph attacked her in. i hope that all made sence to you, if not i can try to re-explain it. i got alot of this from the game and the animated series ( you should look into that if you havent yet) its really cool, sorry if i sound like a Know-It-All...but in short, seph was kinda a mistake and yeah hojo is his daddy (tho only by test tube) lol and he is modified, tho he isnt an ancient, he has like 1\3rd human cells and the rest are jenovas. cloud wasnt a faild project but when he was ijected with the jenova\mako crossover his body didnt react the way the other soldiers did, and he first used his true strength when he ran in to help zack fight seph in the reacter, oh might i add that zack was heavely wouded in the fight as well as seph and in the end cloud carried him and tifa out and seph fleed (sorry 4 the type-o's im reall tired)

Cloud is human, Sephiroth only tried to trick him into thinking he wasn't.

The truth that Tifa hid from Cloud was only that Cloud never made it into SOLDIER 1st Class.

Cloud is only a failure in Hojo's eyes since the Mako infusions that he bathed Cloud in (remember the lab in the basement of the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim, and the two tanks at the south end of the room? Never trigged the secret scene involving those, did you?) didn't make Cloud like Sephiroth, as that was SOLDIER's secret project, to create Sephiroth clones, or at least people like Sephiroth.

Cloud did in fact have a mother that simply looked like an elder, feminine version of him, and his memories of her are true and accurate. After returning home, why do you suppose her last line was "...Cloud, I will always be your mother." Because he admitted to her that I never made it into SOLDIER 1st Class, obviously, since he had to have wandered into there with his standard issue blue uniform, the uniform of a private, and not even a member of SOLDIER. The SOLDIER uniform are the fatigues that Zack wore, and Zack eventually gave Cloud a pair before they left Nibelheim again.

Sephiroth was created out of Jenova cells bathed in Mako energy; Hojo is supposedly his father, and Lucretia, originally Vincent's woman, is Sephiroth's mother; so that was human DNA that was mixed with Jenova cells and Mako energy (Try this at home, kids!)

Zack and Cloud were both seriously injured, and Sephiroth was killed (you guys should know this stuff, every time you see him in the game it's a Sephie-clone, at least, all of them except the last one). Zack and Cloud were then given Jenova cells in an attempt to turn them into Sephie-clones (the clones were made using human beings, like the crazy dude in the pipe in Midgar). They escaped the basement of the Shinra mantion, fled, attempted to reach Midgar so Zack could see his girlfriend (Aeris) but he was killed, Cloud took his sword and went to Midgar, met Tifa, took the job for Avalanche, and so begins the game.
