awesome what kind of edits have been done extended loops?
I hope so some of the songs on the official ost are too short.

Mostly flow/consistency modifications, and cuts to make tracks more succinct. Tanker Incident (Davd49 Edit), and Battle In the Jungle (Davd49 Edit) are both extended with new music ripped from the game that does not appear in the ost. Lots of new gameplay music in both albums, too.

and when I try to play the songs, it said that I need to insect disc 1 of 2 and I'm not able to play any songs other than the songs from track 27, The Return Of The MiGs on till the end.

Does anyone know how to fix this

I had the same problem as the_spensa with d/ling the same thing he did. What's up with that, and can this problem be fixed?

You have to download the Snake Eater *.z01 file as well - it's the second part of the zip. Put them in the same directory, and then use WinRAR etc. to open.

So which one is better, the one that thewoz put up or the one in this topic? I thought that the one here was complete already.

It's a shame there aren't more tracks available on the Ost, for instance - from scenes of The Boss' speech (Nevada Desert) and the Death of the Boss. Big thanks for uploading the soundtracks though, they're great!

I know! I really miss the track that plays right at the start of the game when the Boss talks to Snake about how enemies don't exist in absolute terms, and that battles are dictated by the times. I think the song was replayed when Eva and Snake meet in the house at the top of the mountains, when they talk about Snake's relationship with the Boss.

^ I have tried to find that track, unsuccessfully though.

I try to extract it and it says the zip is corrupt.
Can't play the tracks directly from the zip.
This would be the .zip file, the .z01 file doesn't seem to register at all, can't open it.
