What is the most scariest game you've played? If not listed in the poll, tell of another and why. Please, list every little detail and even spoilers (just mark when you're gonna post them). Out of these choices, I'd say...

Silent Hill.

The music was totally perfect for the whole scene of the game. The monsters were very creepy, and some you couldn't even kill...yet they couldn't kill you.

The darkness throughout most of the game is also a great effect to the gamer.

And the alternate endings make it worth playing over. :)

Resident evil2. It is really the only one i've played out of that list and i can't think of any others. I don't remember much about it since its been awhile since i have played it.

The Resident Evil series wasn't as scary as most people made out, IMO. There was the odd "jump out of your seat" moment when something decided to come crashing through the wall, but other than that, it was played the same as most games. As for Silent Hill..... I only played the demo and I'd played enough to know that if I continued to play I would scare myself to death. The atmosphere created by the game was unreal. It's a sort of slow, slow build of terror, not jumping suddenly. I really couldn't think to myself to play more of the game...

Resident Evil 3 was quite scary. The zombies are everywhere.

In terms of scare factor.DEFINITLY Silent Hill. That game creeped the S*** out of me.

But RE will always have a special place in my heart.

Silent Hill2!! Now thats some creep, scary shit. You try to play it in the middel of the night in a dark room and no ones there, only the sound from the game... muwhahaha, scary thought..

I'm now playing onimusha, and sometimes it scares me like hell.

My favorite was Silent Hill. That game was very well put together and everything about it was great. I'm currently working on Silent Hill 2. I always try and get every little thing in the games, so they usually take me a while to beat.

Resident Evil 2 was my favorite of the Resident Evil Series. I use to have it, but like all my old games......my brother pawned it:(

Silent Hill was an awsome experience, but Resi Evil 3 is just king in my book.

I agree with $quall, Silent Hill 2 is the scariest freakin' game I have played. But RE takes all.

Probaly Alien vs Predator when you are a human, playing that game around 1.00am isn't good for your health XD

Resident Evil 2 was the mostest scariest game for me. BLAH!!!!

...What's so scary about Resident Evil?

Truthfully, I was hardly expecting any one to say RE. Sure, maybe it has a few "makes you jump" moments, and the creepy zomibes are a bit weird. But really, is that what you consider scary? I can understand if it's your first horror game, but still...

Anyway, I s'pose everyone has their reasons. :)

I still say SH1 and SH2.

are you kidding?resident evil1for the ps1 scared the hell outta me! i think resident evil was the first to start the survival horror genre(feel free to correct me if im wrong.) i do admit everything after RE1 didnt scare me that much....except for the nemesis...that thing creeped me out! :eek: :uh?: :eek:

Resident evil 3 is crap there was only 1 part that made me feel scared

Resident Evil 2 is a lot better

Aliens V Predator is just too damn scary to play

But the Winner is Silent Hill the thing with the hospital lift just freaked me out

In my opinion, Resident Evil wasn't scary at all.

Silent Hill and the sequel were way scarier and way more fun. The radio and the fog make the perfect combination. The radio alerts you to the prescence of the enemy and the fog makes it so that you can't see it. It's a kind of "what's in the dark?" sort of thing. Also, it had the best usage (or at least one of the best) of the vibration function. When you have low life, it's like his heart beats faster and faster. Very cool.

Silent hill no:1 is the most scariest game i've ever played.
Other game are just so~so

I htink silent hill 2 moves wayyyy too slow. I liked the first one but barely played it. My favorite series has to be the RE series. they all spooked me out, even the part three that wasn't that good.

RE 1 is the most scariest game.
