Hey, everyone.

I'm attempting to make the best Crazy Taxi CD possible so I'm gonna need your help to collect every song from the series.

So far I have all the tracks from Crazy Taxi 1 and 2...

"All I Want" - The Offspring
"Change the World" - The Offspring
"Hear It" - Bad Religion
"Inner Logic" - Bad Religion
"Ten in 2010" - Bad Religion
"Them and Us" - Bad Religion
"Way Down the Line" - The Offspring
"Americana" - The Offspring
"Come Out Swining" - The Offspring
"Crash" - Methods of Mayhem
"No Brakes" - The Offspring
"One Fine Day" - The Offspring
"Walla Walla" - The Offspring
"Who the Hell Cares" - Methods of Mayhem

...which are on this little collection I'm uploading to get us started. (if anyone has any higher quality versions of the same songs could they upload those please?)

RapidShare link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/53105863/Crazy_Taxi_Crazy_Tunes.zip.html

However I need the following tracks from Crazy Taxi 3 and Fare Wars...

"Boom Boom Boogie" - Citizen Bird
"Empty Causes" - Bad Religion
"King Of The Line" - Citizen Bird
"Raw Power Angel" - Citizen Bird
Another Beautiful Day" - Oneofthesedays
"Black Radio" - Jonny Rumble
"The Chase" - Theron Day
"Escape Artist" - Burn the Fields
"Farewell to a Friend" - Oneofthesedays
"Fire Puppy" - Thomas Lunch
"Get Out" - The Hooks
"No One Hears Me" - Oneofthesedays
"Orange Wednesday" - One Light Out
"Red Eyes" - Ming + FS
"Spy Chaser" - We Are Invisible
"Yellow Dotted Lines" - Ming + FS
"Your Mouth is a Guillotine" - The Vicious Five

I already have the other tracks from Crazy Taxi that aren't listed including "Hotrod Girl" and "Ignition" by Brian Setzer '68 and "Punk Rock Song" by Bad Religion... somewhere... *checks CDs* If anyone has them handy then could they upload them anyway? Thanks!

For some reason I don't recognise any of the tracks listed on the Crazy Taxi pages on the shrines. Are they from the PC version or something?

Once I've got all the tracks I want to remix them so that they play more or less continously without any pauses between tracks.

Thanks for your help and enjoy the tunes.

I have a question: What's the name of the song that plays during name entry in the first Crazy Taxi? I'm specifically looking for that, and I'm sure it's not just a Sega creation.

EDIT: I found it. It's No. 15 - Change the World. I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!! I've been looking for this music all in one place since the game came out and in a digital format at that. I had the credits for Crazy Taxi 2 on cassette tape for my car many years ago when I didn't have an mp3 player. Yay!!!!

I love you guys!

I dunno if someone still sits in this thread...
I ripped many songs from the PC version of Crazy Taxi 3, although I don't know the names of half of them. If someone has a list of Crazy Taxi 3 PC songs, I may be able to rename them correctly, then put an archive on RapidShare. I also had Empty Causes by Bad Religion and if someone has an Xbox version of CT3, I could try to rip Citizen Bird from it.

EDIT: Actually, I found a website with full Citizen Bird songs for free, gonna put it on RapidShare very soon.
EDIT2: Here it is. http://rapidshare.com/files/126966758/Crazy_Taxi_Citizen_Bird.zip.html Still, I would appreciate if someone wrote up the list of songs heard in Crazy Taxi 3 PC version.

Big news: I have the soundtrack from Crazy Taxi Fare Wars. Bad news: it's encrypted in ATRAC3, I ripped it from the game itself, so it's in .at3 format. I have no idea how to decode that, so if someone finds a way to convert those files into wav or mp3, we'd be done.

Does anyone know any good music identification programs? I already went through Tunatic and Winamp Auto-Tagger. I still need to tag 3 more songs I ripped from Crazy Taxi 3 PC.
EDIT: You know what? If someone has Crazy Taxi 3 for PC, go to where th emusic is and look up m13.ogg, m15.ogg, and m16.ogg. There are the ones I'm missing, would really appreciate a hand.

You seem really desperate. You don't need to rip those songs, they're all licensed songs easily available on a few studio albums. I came across this thread while compiling the soundtrack list for the original Xbox version of Crazy Taxi 3, so I can get the PC version running with identical music, since the Xbox version isn't backwards compatible on 360. I put the list on Wikipedia, but I'll post it here for you, as well. Actually, I'll list the original soundtracks for Crazy Taxi 1, 2, and 3, for anyone wondering what the songs are. Please note that these are the original soundtracks, not the PC soundtracks which were almost certainly licensed with a way smaller budget in mind, without really seeing how well they would fit the games.

Crazy Taxi (Arcade, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, GameCube) [Also on PC, PSP, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 without the original soundtrack, but all of these versions have custom soundtrack support, so play the original soundtrack!]

Main menus: The Offspring - Change the World from the album Ixnay on the Hombre (it's just the drum intro looping indefinitely)

Character select screen: Bad Religion - Hear It from the album No Substance (just the intro looping indefinitely)

In-game (cycling indefinitely in this order, goes to the next song if you replay/retry):
The Offspring - All I Want from the album Ixnay on the Hombre
Bad Religion - Them and Us from the album The Gray Race
The Offspring - Way Down the Line from the album Ixnay on the Hombre
Bad Religion - Ten in 2010 from the album The Gray Race

If you get an S rank or above, the credits will play, with its own song.
Credits: Bad Religion - Inner Logic from the album Stranger Than Fiction

High score entry - The Offspring - Change the World from the album Ixnay on the Hombre (lasts 20-30 seconds, this time you hear the guitar come in)

Crazy Taxi 2 (Dreamcast) [also on PSP without the original soundtrack, but has custom soundtrack support]

Main menus: The Offspring - Americana from the album Americana (just the drum intro)

Character select: Methods of Mayhem - Who the Hell Cares from the album Methods of Mayhem (just the intro looping)

In-game:
The Offspring - No Brakes from the album Americana
The Offspring - Come Out Swinging from the album Conspiracy of One
The Offspring - One Fine Day from the album Conspiracy of One
The Offspring - Walla Walla from the album Americana

Credits: Methods of Mayhem - Crash from the album Methods of Mayhem

Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller (Xbox, Arcade) [also on PC without the original soundtrack, but has custom soundtrack support, however, it takes a bit more work this time...]

You need CD-quality .ogg file type versions of the songs. Use THIS (http://download.cnet.com/Free-Mp3-Wma-Ogg-Converter/3000-2140_4-10793572.html) program to convert to .ogg (remember to choose CD quality!). Next find the Music folder inside the game's Media folder and replace all sixteen .ogg files with these songs from the original soundtrack. Note that you have to give them the correct names -- m01.ogg, m02.ogg, etc. You might not need to have .ogg in the name.

m01.ogg Main menus: The Offspring - Special Delivery from the album Conspiracy of One (just the intro riff looping, but if you don't feel like editing the song, just put the whole song on there. Not like it takes long to select a mode anyway. Same applies to any other looping bits when you're making a custom soundtrack.)

m02.ogg West Coast character select: Bad Religion - Hear It from the album No Substance (intro looping)

m03.ogg West Coast track 1: The Offspring - All I Want from the album Ixnay on the Hombre

m04.ogg West Coast track 2: The Offspring - No Brakes from the album Americana

m05.ogg West Coast track 3: The Offspring - Want You Bad from the album Conspiracy of One

m06.ogg West Coast credits: Bad Religion - Inner Logic from the album Stranger Than Fiction

m07.ogg Glitter Oasis character select: Brian Setzer - Ignition from the album Ignition! (intro looping)

m08.ogg Glitter Oasis track 1: Silverbullit (also known as Citizen Bird) - Raw Power Angel from the album Silverbullit

m09.ogg Glitter Oasis track 2: Silverbullit - Boom Boom Boogie from the album Silverbullit

m10.ogg Glitter Oasis track 3: Silverbullit - King of the Line from the album Silverbullit

m11.ogg Glitter Oasis credits: Brian Setzer - Hot Rod Girl from the album Ignition!

m12.ogg Small Apple character select: Methods of Mayhem - Who the Hell Cares from the album Methods of Mayhem (intro looping)

m13.ogg Small Apple track 1: Bad Religion - Punk Rock Song from the album The Gray Race

m14.ogg Small Apple track 2: Bad Religion - Empty Causes from the album The Gray Race

m15.ogg Small Apple track 3: Bad Religion - Ten in 2010 from the album The Gray Race

m16.ogg Small Apple credits: Methods of Mayhem - Crash from the album Methods of Mayhem

Well, there you go: all of the songs from the original soundtracks. If you like them, support the bands by purchasing the albums, and support Sega by getting Crazy Taxi on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, or PC (coming soon again on the Dreamcast Collection)!

I got all 3 original Crazy Taxis bought on their own original console releases and day 1 purchases :P (that's easily better than "others" 'round here, I'm sure)
CT1 & 2 on the DC and 3 on the Xbox! :P

But it was specifically the songs by Silverbullit which I wouldn't find nowhere besides on the game itself... :/
