Alright, next I’m going to make a music pack of particularly exceptional tracks from several of the companies so people who haven’t heard of any of these guys before have some direction and influence.

Any orchestra music lovers should download this to get an idea of some of the things to expect from some of these companies. Typically what happens is people go "Wow! The music in that trailer was great…I wish I knew what it was". 99% of those mystery songs from trailers and commercials can be found from these companies. A smart thing to do is go to www.soundtrack.net, click on Movies, find the movie that’s trailer has the music you like and click it, then on the left side there’s a Trailer Music box, click "View the complete list of trailer music". From there you’ll have a list of songs and then you process of elimination until you find the one you were looking for.

Depends on what you like. The biggest songs with lots of choir and orchestra are on the ‘Once’ album and on the new album Dark Passion Play

Another song similar to ghost love score is ‘the poet and the pendullum’. I like all there cd’s.

Well, seems like Rapidshare and Megaupload are definitely a no go. I swear they are monitoring this thread or something. I might have to use some of those anonymisers + some other file sharing. Filefactory it is then, as long as it has an upload manager and a file limit of at least 200mb, I’m ok.

I’ve upped a LOT of stuff to Fileho’s FTP, yet I haven’t received a SINGLE dl link yet. I’ve contacted them, and hopefully once it’s fixed, you’ll have a lot of mirrors for all the files, so you don’t have to worry about one not working. If none work for you then….well, hope someone else can mirror them for you.

It might just be me, I just figured I’d mention something just in case…I notice a lot of those links are extreme-share so that would just be sad.

BTW I need some people to upload the torrent to most of the trackers in my torrent if you know how and then give me the files so i can seed/upload to you.
You do not need to do this in order to download it but it would help the torrent get to you faster.
If you do tend to help please post the link here and also pm me the link so i can seed/upload to more sites.

SkyDiver, yep, they don’t work for me either. Oh well, Extremeshare obviously goes down the drain. To be honest, I think they, "higher powers", are monitoring this thread. Either that, or some d*ck is reporting all my uploads. I’ve noticed rapidshare and megaupload links from another site still working from months ago.

zip the folder that contains the songs and upload the zipped file. zip each album seperately so people can choose which albums they want to download. would be great to get them all uploaded so everyone can get wat they want. it does take a while but u can leave ur comp running while ur not at it 🙂

I tried again, and it seems to have worked. I think my problem was that I was trying to upload all of them at once and it choked.

With Linux, just use konqueror (normal file browser) and you get a folder with icons where you can drag and drop copy, as if it was a folder on your harddrive. This should work with the normal windows explorer, too (not internet explorer). But I’m not sure, as I don’t have windows, but most things that work with Linux will work with windows, too. Try it out.

The server keeps coming of the static ip for the port forwarding for ftp and I have to reset it. Just be patient as this will eventually go away as soon as I perfect the port forwarding… I am not at my server location currently so I can’t fix it right now… but I will as soon I am… thanks again for all the uploads — keep going!

Just wanted you to know that I was not able to access the ftp server for 24 hours now. Maybe I am the only one, so please let me know if it is a general problem or mine specifically.

A quick experiment just confirmed my hypothesis. One (or more) of you must have opened the page in Windows Explorer and then moved the folders and files in question off of the server and on to your own hard drive(s) instead of copying them, thus erasing them from the server.

Now, understand that it took me most of Thanksgiving Day to upload all of the missing albums the first time, so don’t expect them all back up overnight. I’ll repost them in small batches when I have time. Be patient, please.

Speaking of patience, I apologize in advance for any breach of decorum and bruised feelings, but this is really wearing on my patience: Yes, we know that X-Ray Dog just released discs 29 through 33. No, none of us have them yet, or else we would have uploaded them by now. Therefore, being the seventh person in a row to ask if someone would upload them really isn’t going to make it happen any frakking faster, now is it? If somebody gets ahold of them, I imagine that they’ll let us all know. Until such time, settle the frell down and stop screaming gimme-gimme-gimme and generally being such spastic me-monkeys, all right? Thank you.

Again, I apologize if I’m less than civil, but if I trashed something that you had put a lot of time and effort into building, and was so ignorant or apathetic as to not even notice or care that I had done it without trying to fix it, then I’d understand if you got a little irritable and said unkind things too.

Incidentally, Mikeyai, since you originally said that you’d allow open access if the general population didn’t ruin it, I would postulate that having entire sections outright ripped out by persons unknown might just qualify as "ruining it." lol you don’t actually believe that we rip the CDs? They’ve been passed down from p2p to p2p so no one knows who where to original uploaders. That’s why you won’t find anything better than this, for now. Alot of those 320kbps albums are also upsampled from a lower quality. Doesn’t really make sense…

You might have a different taste on that, but everyone can decide on his own what he likes to listen to on an album. I always prefer to get the full album with all songs, 30sec edits, drums etc.

Why that, the Remix used in POTC3 trailer, could be now downloaded on different pages. So i found it also in a big Win Rar with all the Trailer music of POTC3.

i’ll keep all of them and burn to dvd, just in case i need to video project for my college. Sometimes, i’ll listen some of the songs for ideas and it really can help me to imagine lot of cool ideas.

I totally agree. When I like an album I buy it. I spend almost all my pocket money on CD’s and DVD’s. Unfortunatly not all albums are for sale…which explains the existence of this board full of unreleased trailer and game music (although I hate gaming, I like the music 😛 )…

I also removed all the dead links from my recent previous posts and replaced it with [links dead] :-\

First of all…who are "we".
And second of all…i think he actually owns that particular CD and ripped it so we could hear what the music like…and i was only asking for THAT particular CD.

And i know 9/10 of these packages are from P2P etc, but however…i managed to find a better quality of TFOAC here so im happy 😀

hyprdud1, someone is reporting the links, so it doesn’t matter where we upload! once the links go public, someone here reports the illegal links to the site and they delete it… it’s not BECAUSE of rapidshare or megaupload…
I’m almost sure it’s that ry81-guy. It is obvious he’s just angry that all this music isn’t exclusive to the privilleged people like him… I still think it’s a much better idea to give the links through private messages instead of posting them here where everybody can see them…
