Armed Police Batrider unofficial Soundtrack (Arcade) rip
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V4DBZIQY

i know what you say, i already share this Soundtrack but this time i made a "complete work" on the mp3's & done a beautifull custom cover :) for this awesome game
added the "Start" & "Game Over" tune, sorted the track for the best listening & finally deleted a blow on each track

custom cover

this Soundtrack is a mame rip by myself, ripped with bridgeM1
with tracks name + custom cover + arcade flyers (instructions cards pictures of the arcade cabinet)
see 00 - infos.txt, for more informations.

Not bad, though I prefer the other rip. I wish I knew what method the ripper used because as hard as I try I can't make it sound like it. Also, both rips messed up on "No Way Out," though it doesn't really matter since I feel that's the weakest track on the soundtrack. I don't understand how such magnificent music never got an official soundtrack.

yop Rubicon, i know 3 method to rip a mame game

1) BrigeM1 : (an M1 front-end [M1=Mame]) wich is able to play the game tunes in the roms directly, but it's a real time recording... 1hour music is 1hour ripping, there is no track lenght & must editing the MP3's

2) foo_M1 : a plugin for foobar2000, mostly hard to config (i could done 1 time but i'm unable to reinstall it on my computer since i format) but with too much confort, foobar rip at ~x30 to the real speed (1hour rip in less 10minutes) & as BrigdeM1 no track length & must rework the MP3's too.

3) the direct rip : with a real time recorder (that i did for this one) with a soft that rip directly the stereo mixer of your computer & of course :) must mork the MP3's after.

i hope u will satisfy of my answer, wich technique did you use?? with curiosity

I tried those two, but it didn't make much of a difference, the tracks still don't sound as powerful as they do on the first rip you posted.

volume? that's the problem? looooool

put your win volume to the max,

that my favorite volume, a just middle, not to high not to low...

If it was the volume then I would just amplify it. Just listen to the tracks on the other rip, if you can't tell the difference then I guess you'll never understand what I'm trying to say.

Do you what Namiki & Koyano's full name's are?

Also, in your tags you have the name Santaruru but no mention of Namiki. Are those 2 the same person? Thank you!

Simon B

exactly that, during a moment (i don't know why) Manabu Namiki was called Santaruru in some of this Arcade Composition :)

watch the end of the game (credits) in youtube, you ll see.

So does anyone have the rip for re-upload since megaupload is gone? I have this ost, but I am quite sure simon-b's rip is a better version, so I'd love to give it a listen.
