I've always been partial to Terry Pratchett myself.

Oh the Terry Pratchett/ Neil Gaiman collab. I haven't read all of it yet. I like Pratchett's diskworld series. Favorite book so far from that series I've read is Small Gods. (An it came to pass that in time, the Great God Om spake unto Brutha, the Chosen one: "Psst!") That book was classic.

I was supposed to read Small Gods, but the friend who introduced me to Good Omens and Hitchhiker's hasn't made good on it. I rarely read and even more rarely buy books, a shame I suppose.

During the upcoming elections I will sport some Zaphod diggs, if I can beat Agent to it :p

Sigh. Anyway I myself still need to read up on all the current Diskworld books. I also want to read the Vampire Hunter D books as well.

Except for the usual ones (Rowling, Tolkien etc) I guess Douglas Adams and Jeff Noon are my favorites. Absolutely fell in love with 'Vurt', even though it's a story of the sick, dirty love between a guy and his sister. Yeesh.

There.

i wouldn't say that i have a favorite author, there are MANY books that i like, i could care less about the author as long as the book is great.

also jonathan kellerman's "Alex Delaware" novels are just amazing i love the main character and all of the stories. if it wasn't for my mom i would never of read those books.

(sometimes i wish i worked in a library so i could read books all day :-\ )
