Anyone like this amazing band, or even heard of them? They are awesome, really, they're debut album got great reviews, Ultimate Guitar gave them a 10/10, Amazon gave them 5 stars, PunkNews.com gave them 5 stars(even though they're only a bit punk, just vocal-wise, but with death metal screams and growls and amazing guitars and drums), and sputnikmusic.com gave them an average rating of 4.3/5. They have received dazzling reviews from other places as well. And they're all only 19(when they recorded they're first CD they were 18). If you havent already, listen to them......seriously........only one cd now but another one to come in october. The have a cd called kezia(full-length sick album) and an LP A Calculated Use of Sound(this is when they were 16 its ok). Between the LP and the CD they're sound changed so i recommend the debut CD Kezia and everything after it cuz its.....well......better......

I love Protest the Hero.

Back when I was all into nothing but Goregrind/Death/Black Metal I couldn't stand anything of the sort, but now that I'm into more progressive/technical stuff like Agalloch, Opeth, Dream Theater and now a very big fan of Post Rock, I am now really into PtH.

It's not just the actual music, which at times on their Kezia album is absolutely beautiful, it's that I am extremely impressed by how amazing the band is from a technical standpoint. The two guitarists are phenomenal, and after I really got into the instrument (guitar, I mean) I can really appreciate what I'm listening to.

Wonderful, wonderful band.

Ok not the greatest thing and I don't care too much for the singer but the guitar playing is excellent.
