I love those parts when a character says "When I did this with that person in this place, that long ago" and they cut to a stupid random scene.
It�'sgreat.

And when the characters fall or get hit by a car...they always fall in this stupid way...with their legs all twisted, it makes me laugh.

I've used to watch it. I think it's okay, but as I said in an earlier poll I kinda liked Groening's works better.

I hate the show, but that's just me.

it's a small part but it's the greatest, the time when i think peter gets the job at the distillary and all of them go there and they get in the large tank of beer, so they're all sitting there, quagmayer(sp??) is going on and on about something and joe's legs rise to the surface so he pushes them down, then a few seconds later they float up to the surface so he pushes them down again, it happens over and over. to me it's a funny part but some probably didn't even notice

Wanna what's even scarier? I've met this family and they all sound like different members of the Griffin family. They sorta-even look like them. It was scared the crap out of me.

I watch it, but not so much. I've observed a noticeable drop in quality since its come back with season four. Though, there have been some good episodes from said season to the last one, so I'm not writing it completely off.

I still like Family Guy but there has been some more or less "Not that funny' episode but I like it non the less. ^^

Even though I still stand by my original comment, I have to admit that this season was a definite improvement over season four.

That said, I'm looking forward to the season premiere of the show. From what I've read, the entire episode will be a Star Wars parody (in celebration of the film's 30th anniversary).

The Simpsons doesn't have the impact like it used to.

I never considered them rivals, 'cause when Family Guy premiered it came out right after The Simpsons. I watched it, and thought it was boring. I'll admit, it does have it's moments, but not enough to keep my interest.
The reason why I find it boring, is 'cause it relies too much on gags. As a matter of fact, that's what changed about The Simpsons. Aside from losing it's edge, It added more and more gags.

In my opinion, what really makes Family Guy so funny is that that make fun of other shows and certain other things. Not to mention Peter doing stupid things.

Yeah that was a funny EPS. One of my favorites was were the at as the A-Team.....Reminds me of robot chicken.

Family Guy's first three seasons were pretty good, but lately I feel like it just relies mostly on using Meg as comic relief, along with its token rants against the U.S. government/army/church etc.

I think the Simpsons is much better in that it makes people laugh without being overly crass. Also, Family Guy is getting more and more repetitive with each passing series. Seen Peter fight the chicken man once, seen it a million times. The chicken man really doesn't need to come back every other episode you know :(

And the characters in general are a bit crap. The only really good ones are Stewie, Brian, and of course, Quagmire. Peter and Lois are a poor man's Homer and Marge, Meg as I said is just comic relief and Chris is Chris, has his moments but usually just feels as though he isn't there.

Personally I think the characters in American Dad are much better.

I kinda don't like Family Guy now either. Simpsons is best. American Dad, well, the only reason I sometimes watch it is because of Patrick Stewert being in it.

I saw the Star Wars episode last night...anybody else see it?
I though it was a bit forced and not that funny. I did enjoy some parts though. Like the whole Deathstar's 99.9% overall protection thing and the 0.1% being that one opening where it would destroy the whole facility. Haha. Yea serious design flaw.
