Yes, Phoenix is in the game(at least, I'm pretty sure. It's either Phoenix, or a moomba, or both). In order to use it, though, you must either use a Gameshark, or get a hold of a Pocketstation. You get the item by playing the chocobo minigame for the Pocketstation, but the station was not released in America due to poor battery life. If you don't have a Gameshark, you're out of luck. Unless you are playing the PC version. At least, I think, it might have just been one you get later lol.

I think you have to get the Phoenix Pinion from a sidequest. I never did bother with it!

I could have sworn you can only get the pinion in the Pocketstation thing. Maybe I'm thinking of the Moomba summon.

The phoenix pinion is a summon spell that can only be used once. But once you use it, the Phoenix summon will appear randomly throughout the rest of the game!(Reviving your party) I know you can get one from the Shumi Village Side Quest. But I'm not 100% sure if I know what I am talking about.

ok we arnt ther eyet we msised ar eon zell`s love quest but sadly none of that is going well non one is were they should be @_@
Wow...Yes, Phoenix is in the game. After completing the side quest in Shumi Village, the elder guy person thing gives you a Phoenix Pinion. That's one of the ways to get a hold of one. I've gotten 3 in the game before, but I can't remember how. Try using Card Mod and see what you get.
And fffan, learn to spell so you don't look like an illiterate scumbag.

Ok, I must have been thinking of the Moomba summon lol.
Moomba, MiniMog, and Chocobo summons are the only ones that you need to have a pocketstation for...or gameshark. Also, you can only get the Ribbon item through the same way.
Disregard this post. The post button was being stupid and made another copy of the one above.

Any possible reason you didn't check GameFAQs (

For the record, three Mega Phoenix refine into one Phoenix Pinion using Tool-RF. I believe that's the easiest way to get more of them. And to get Mega Phoenix in the first place, you can refine 50 Phoenix Down using L-Med RF.

50 Phoenix Downs refine into 1 Mega Phoenix with the Med LV Up ability. 3 Mega Phoenix's refine into 1 Phoenix Pinion with the Tool-RF.
Moombas can only be summoned using the Friendship item which, I believe, can only be obtained with the pocketstation. Gysahl Greens summon Chicobo (pocketstation helps).
