I LOVED this game back in the day and firing it up still makes me smile a bit. Love the humor involved with this game:) The Bug Hunt song is just plain weird! My fave here by a LONGSHOT is "Griffith Park"; very 80's RoboCop/Terminator groove there.

Sadly the quality isn't the greatest; this game has always had a very raspy quality to it, sort of like how Mega Man X8 came out, it just is a real shame because the soundtrack is actually decent, hidden beneath the grind and the grunge.


If for no other reason you should check out "X1-Alpha's Ending Performance Piece" to REALLY know how to roll credits in a cop/mech game!!

Yeah, it's pretty interesting so far, should use mp3 format instead of m4a, but a simple rename of the file extension fixes it.

I was wondering what exactly does it "fix" and how do you fix it? I thought I was putting this in MP3's, hmm. If it's in regard to the sound quality; straight out of the game it sounds like that and always had.

It is also a PC game and would love to see someone upload THAT so we can see if it's different however it does seem any game I ever ask for I do not get:(

No way to tell what a demo had on it now I guess; but I can say "Griffith Park" is the first level and she is well represented:) I left off "Long Beach" (last level) because there was no music at all just incidental noises... the music in 2 player is recycled from the one player... hope everyone is enjoying what IS here:)

Nice tracks, they sound like a merge between street of rage/wipeout for some of them :D

Why 12 to 22 tracks ? Is there 1 to 11 tracks also ?

I had that on a CD-RW and Blasto! was 1-11. Future Cop only had 10 levels so don't worry you aren't missing much if anything.

IF THERE WAS A DESIRE I COULD RECORD ALL THE INTRO'S TO THE LEVELS FOR THE GAME. EACH LEVEL HAD A "STORY" BEHIND EACH BOSS WHICH SERVED AS AN INTRO; TOLD BY THE SAME SEXY VOICE THAT INTRODUCES X-1 ALPHA. I left them out to try an have the s/t be less "talky" but now I'm rethinking it. What do you think?

No idea. The melodies kick ass but the quality is bit ratty. Sorry but that's the way this game seems to sound under any circumstances.

yeah I guess so, but even when you're actually playing the game with the audio turned off it's still just awesome to sit idle which actually the reason my ps 1 died on me a month ago. T.T

Thanks for the upload, I'd like this soundtrack too. I just downloaded it and tried to open the RAR thingy but it keeps saying the password is wrong. I've tried various combinations using spaces, no spaces, upper case, lower case, etc, but no luck. Do you know what's wrong?

Thanks for the help: unfortunately, although all the tracks are contained in that .rar, none of them will play when opened with Winamp. They are displayed as having a duration of 0:00.
Any idea why that might be? WMP complains that the 'extension (mp3) doesn't match the file type', if that helps.

I have no idea, they work for me on WMP without complaining - and also, I guess it's the one I got here, but can't remember exactly. MAybe someone should convert them to work on WinAmp.

Err, I should say thanks to your efforts in reuploading the soundtrack, but there is a track missing in the fixed .rar archive. It is the music that plays when you engage in that skirmish-like game mode against the flying captain enemy.
