Hello everybody,

I've been trying to find this OST for quite a long time,
does anybody know where I can find it?
It's not easy to look it up, cause looking up "Driver 2" gets me all
the other racer games, but what I'm looking for is the funky
sound from Driver games, got the Driver 1 ost already, yet this should be better,
so if anyone could help me to it, I'd be eternally greatful!

damn i will have to post that eventually. i've seen that, that's not the ost. only one song is the menu track...im more interested in the ingame music!

That is the Driver 1 soundtrack, but it's the PC version. The PS1 version has 17 tracks and is better, and while I posted a link to it here a long time ago it never went up on Galbadia for some reason, and now the only link to it has been taken down, despite renewed interest lately. I still have the proper D1 music, but I don't know when I'll be able to upload it. I'm also desperately looking for a game rip of Driver: Parallel Lines (the 70's music, at least), and the version I have of the Driv3r music has all this really annoying garbage said over the start and end of all the tracks. If someone could help me out with Parallel Lines and possibly Driv3r as well, I'll definately find the time to upload the original, proper Driver 1 soundtrack, probably on sendspace or Divshare, since megaupload doesn't seem to be as reliable.

hey, my bad i havent been gettin any tracks my shit has been chopping up more and more since then, but i think i fixed it a lil...

i was just going thru my ps1 demos and the driver 2 demo has this track i dont think is on the full driver 2.

yeh i havent had time and my cd2 iso is not working it fucking sucks i can only get songs from cd1. i've had my save state for the last mission of the first city. it sucks i've only discovered like 4 tracks. driver 1 is best meng

the demo track is like the only funky track i've heard all the tracks in chicago are like heavy rock it just doesnt flow very well

Which part does it skip on, the gamerip or the cutscenes rip?
If its the cutscene music I can try ripping it again, if its the gamerip then you may wanna ask badsonic1232 as he ripped that.

he is probablys talkin about the gamerip cos thats the one whichs skippin. what a chance, my favourite tracks do not skip whereas the ones i hate do some skipping :-D

Hmmm I never noticed it skipped, thats prbly caus the tracks I like don't have the skipping on it =)

heyy dudes i know how to convert those, i just converted them to mp3 really easily and let me tell you how it's done;

yous first gotta download somethingy called Easy CD-DA Extractor. you can find its 30 day trial version here directly at http://www.poikosoft.com

then you gots to install and run it and follow the instructions on the picture here;

i just noticed that you probably wont be able to follow the instructions because they are not in english. so you can follow my instructions xD 1.first step is to select the part which says "Audio Converter".

2. you gotta drag those music that you want to convert where it says DRAG.

3. you gots to choose the output format which is likely to be mp3 in most conditions. AND from below that choose the "CD - Quality" of course.

4. finally, simply click the "Convert Files" button at the bottom right corner.

then the thing simply converts whatever you put there to whatever format you like.

NOTE: its output folder is the "track"s folder. so it will put the converted version in the same folder with the original one. so keep an eye on where you keep your first track.

SECOND NOTE: i can make this thing sticky or another seperated topic if you want.

BY THE WAY: THiS thing converts a lot of formats to a lot of formats. keep that in mind. find the full version somewhere or buy it or convert whatever you need in 30 days because this, is something goood.

Will hopefully add Tuix's cutscene OST to the gamerip tonight.
Was wondering do ppl still want my rip of the cutscenes to still be included bearing in mind you can hear the characters and SFX on them?

Btw I'm hoping to record the in-game music from my own copy of Driver 2 soon as I have finally got a new laptop.
Seeing as I have two copies of the game I should be able to record without the skipping on the current one availible.
I did record the music before but I had the volume too loud on my PC which resulted in the recording being distorted.
