I heard rumors that Lunar 3 would be coming out on ps2, do any of you know if this is true?

I've heard something like this as well. don't really care though.

Well if you read the Lunar 2 EB guide they interview the director. He said he's currently working on a Lunar 3. I sure hope thats true!!!!!!!

Yeah i know, thats the rumor I was talking about. But besides that, I have heard nothing else about there being a Lunar 3.

Yeah. I hope they do. I also hope they have the same anime style scenes but better graphics.

YES its true lunar3 is in development! I've read in U.S.official playstation magazine that lunar3 is in development.other than that no info was given.:confused:

Nope.the page was about ff10. but on the left side of the page there was a bit of news about upcoming RPGs and the comfimation of lunar3s development.Sorry there was no picture..:(

Well if you check Lunar.net, They interviewed someguy and he said-It will defiently come out to PS2, He guessed that it would take about 3 years to develop it(they started in early 1999), so it might come near Christmas of 2003. Oh yeah Grandia took 4 years to devolup, so Lunar 3 cant be too far away. I d guess May 2004 for the latest. Okay? So thats all the news i heard, go to Lunar .net and check it out......................... No screens shown

I'll get it when it comes out, probably. You know what would be really cool though? What if all of the in game graphics looked like the anime cut scenes!!?? They could use cel-shading! That would kick so much ass.

cel shading? thats an excellent idea! sadly they will most likely get rid of the anime cut scenes..but hell lunar in 128-bit i dont think i'll miss the cutscenes. :D

& it never came out....When Working Designs closed up shop it was the death of true quality rpgs : /

Lunar 3 rumors have been around almost a decade now, and still nothing. Working designs has been shut down at least 4 years, I dont think we will see it, mabey more spin-offs, hopefully im wrong! Lunar series is great.
