Hiya!

As Terranigma is one of my most favourite games ever and its music is nothing short of brilliant, I've taken on the task to create a soundtrack for it some time ago. Unfortunately, the official one isn't really all that good quality-wise, so I hoped I might be able to do a slightly better job. =)

The entire soundtrack is completed, featuring all 56 tracks of the game with a total playback time of 1:37:20. Many of them have been done with the help of midis, others are self-sequenced due to a lack thereof. The download links can be found here: http://www.wyverns-spirit.com/?soundtracks

Sweetspot: Is that supposed to be a joke? :p I downloaded 200+ MB only to get mp3 versions of the SPC soundtrack and the 6 arranged pieces from the OST? And you call it custom-made? Well, I don't know...

When i say custom made, I talk about to personalize it i like it.

Do you have any plans for doing other semi-obscure RPGs after Secret of Evermore? You've got a real talent for adding just enough to these tracks to make them new and nice to listen to, but keeping the original flow and feel. There are a lot of RPGs whose soundtracks could greatly benefit from your kind of overhaul, methinks.

To be honest, I don't look that far into the future. If I really happen to finish both the Terranigma and the Secret of Evermore soundtrack and still haven't got bored of it, I can definitely imagine going on with another title. I don't yet have anything particular in mind, but the two main criteria are that the game has to contain lots of beautiful tracks that make the work worthwhile, and it shouldn't already have one or more official soundtracks of good quality. I'll spend more thoughts on it once I'm there. ;)

Alright, here's the last update: The soundtrack is finished!

Each of the game's 56 tracks is featured, three of them in arranged versions, with a total playback time of 1:37:40. I am currently uploading the whole set in a .rar to megaupload.com, for those who can't be bothered to click 56 links (will add the link later).

Whew. This really took ages, but I'm personally very happy with the result. Sure hope others will enjoy listening to the thing as well. =)

This is some damn...damn...DAMN...good stuff man. The quality is great and you really did a great job adding your own personal feel to the whole soundtrack. Man...this soundtrack is beautiful...thanks for reminding me of that brother. Do more! Please!!!

Epic work. You do a terrific job making an already fantastic soundtrack significantly better. Please keep composing and rearranging in the future--you have definite talent at it. Can't wait to see any additions you make to the Kirby's Dreamland and Secret of Evermore sections on your page.

Awesome game, awesome music. It's a shame it didn't make it to US shores. (Only Europe and Asia) I really appreciate all the work you put into this custom soundtrack. I'd like to see this go to the masses.

after i finished downloading it was all weird as a file that says new shortcut and is
131MB how do i use it it say its .Ink file extension?

No, it's a .rar file. It can be extracted using software like WinRAR (http://www.win-rar.com/index.php?id=160&dl=wrar371.exe).

What file did you download? The .rar on MegaUpload I linked to? If so, what is the complete filename and the filesize?

Edit: Try renaming the file from .lnk to .rar maybe? I have no idea how that could have happened, sorry.

Yes I tried renaming the file it didnt work, the data must be all there because its the correct size 131MB. I have downloaded thousands of rar and never had this happen before, I might just try to redownload the file and see what happens

Ok it worked that time something wierd must have happened during the download process the first time and im not sure what anyway i have it now so its all good.

Oh, but the last link lasted for well over half a year - I think on MegaUpload it says that a file will only be taken off if it hasn't been downloaded once in 60 days or something. But then, I don't know that much about all those free file hosters.
