I just bought chronicles and FFVI is too easy. :p I think I've noticed some differences in the gameplay. (As stupid as this sound, I don't recall Tellah's "Recall" ability). But I thought this was supposed to be really hard.

No, I'm almost positive the PS versoin is the normal version. Its the same as on the SNES which is know as the easy version, I think. The Hard version is on the rom, but i'm not positive. Besides the Hard version isn't really much harder. I have the rom, and the difference isn't alot. I find you run into more battles, and it take longer to level up. The bosses arn't really harder, or at least i didn't think so. FF4 just wasn't that hard of a game, but it was fun.

I might get FFIV PS1 v next week and play it on my PlayStation2 thanks for PS2 have it when you can play PlayStation1 games on it. I heard Final FantasyIV was one of the best Final Fantasy's on Super Nintendo.

PSX version is known as the hard version, and the SNES version is known as the easy version.

I've played through both versions and didn't notice any differences, though, so maybe it's just a rumour.

And yeah, Zeromus was pretty damn hard on both versions

I'm playing the FF4 hard version on the SNES ROM. I notice it's a little harder than FF2US, but not much. The enemies seem to be more active during the battles and having an individual item for each status effect rather than heal for all of them probably makes it a little harder.

The version in chronicles IS the hardtype.. As the leading FF4 expert, I should know. ;) The hardtype is a lil harder and has more stuff. :p
