You have a glitch in your Shadow Hearts soundtracks. Both Shadow Hearts: Covenant OST and Shadow Hearts: From the New World OST have a description saying "From the New World OST" and the exact same file size. I'm guessing there was a mixup, or something. If you could correct that, that'd be great.

eh... well... there's divshare, which hosts this sort of thing and zshare. I really like those. filewind takes a while to upload anything but when it's up it's up forever.

I would really like the 300 soundtrack, so it would be cool if you find a better host.

What about Xirror and Fileplanet? I know nothing about these websites, but I've seen other people on this forum use them. Maybe you could give them a shot.

Guys sometimes Meagupload does that, it tells you that the fiel you want is gone, its just a glitch just keep tryin and itll eventually take you to the proper bit to download. i had to click a link over 10 times before it worked properly. It just does that sometimes.

Any fileshare system would work, I prefer rapidshare, but any other will do. Just pack the files in a rar or zip archive and use a password, when using rar make sure to encrypt the header, too. And don't use a proper filename or file description, call it something like '2F2unrelTx.rar' if it's unreleased Final Fantasy 2 tracks (just an example). This way, the archive cannot be scanned or identified and the file hoster cannot know what it is, so they cannot delete it so soon. Next thing: Don't post direct links! Robot search engines helping file hosters to identify archives may find this, so make sure no search engine will find the link posted: post a graphic of the link or use a wrong link any user could correct (like xttp\\rapixshare.cox\files\2F2unrelTx.rar) for example. Now any user would know that it's not xttp, that \ must be replaced by / and that it's rapid and .com, not rapix and .cox. But a computer program doesn't, so your links will remain undetected. Or upload a .txt file with the correct link, but only link to the textfile in the forum. The wrong links idea is less work, because you can edit your list in a text editor and use find/replace to mess it up, then copy and paste to the forum post. Of course it will be a little more work for users to download (they must copy and paste the link, then correct it) but this is much better than files getting deleted all the time.

But there might be a troll/spy/traitor in the forum who keeps filing complaints to file hostes manually, so if there is such a person he could correct the messed up links and get them deleted again. I've heard that some other boards had problems with trolls like that, but they have also found a SOLUTION: There is a link protecting service called lix.in (just enter 'lix.in' in your browser to go there). Here, you can enter your link (not messed up, the real one) and lix.in will give you a new link to their proxy server. This link you can post, because if anyone clicks it, they will be redirected to the lix.in proxy that will connect to the filehoster instead. The downloader will never see the original link and thus cannot figure out what it is. In combination with a non-telling filename and an encrypted rar archive (you can post the password here on board or PM it to everyone who wants to know) this should give maximum security! I know lix.in works with rapidshare.com, I haven't tried with other file hosters.

+ Less work for every uploaders
+ Less time to spend to search for soundtracks for users
- Only 1 person will have the "opening post"..

uhh... well, if you don't mention the contents in the filename or description (so for a final fantasy orchestrated version, do a name like "dubf6*date here*orch.rar"), I'd use rapidshare, I've had some good experiences with it.

Wouldn't it be better to have a rar within a rar? I'm guessing that with the password, when they check what you've uploaded, they cant confirm that they are soundtracks... but the names, including the mp3 extension all show, the password is asked when you try to extract. Having a second rar inside with the songs would solve that...

Like, if you want to get the Devil May Cry 1 soundtrack, you have to download parts 1, 2 and 3 before trying to extract them. It's one file that has been split into 3 parts, so if you try to extract one of them without the other two, it won't work.

Im personally a massive Elliot Goldenthal fan, I got his Titus score years ago and fell in love with 'Victorius Titus', its up there with Williams' 'Imperial March' any day! :) thanks again for your great spirit, ive got a good few from here including the Silent Hill lot :)
