I love Bishonen! LOL. Doesn't everyone? ;) Who's your favorite Bishonen and why? I'm not going by the age limit they use in Anime or Manga. To me a guy can be a Bishonen regardless of age. For those who don't know what Bishonen means... It means "Beautiful Boy". They're the ones that are usually pretty Feminine looking. IE: Long Hair, Slender Builds, Delicate Jaw lines, etc. :p So cute!! My Favorite Bishonen from video games has got to be Alucard from Castlevaina X. I also like Vega from Street Fighter and Sephiroth from FF7. If I were to pick a Bishonen from Manga, it would be... Oh they're all so cute... I like Darian from Sailor Moon. The Manga version of course. For my Anime pick I'd choose, Marron from Sorcerer Hunters!! Heehee. Who's your favorite Beautiful boy?

Let's see...

Shinji and Kaowru from Evangelion.
Kenshin and Soujirou Seta from Rurouni Kenshin.
Hibiki from Vandread.
Rid from Tales of Eternia:Animation
Rukawa from Slam Dunk

That's all I can think of... I guess I don't like most Bishonens.

Edit: Wait, if a bishonen is a guy who's just good looking, then I have a lot of favorites. Somebody has to explain what bishonen means...

I'd never call you an Otaku. LOL! I hate that term myself. In Japan it's basicly the Not so nice term for "fanboy" LOL! And most American's call themselves that? You know how stupid they look to the Japanese for it? I've had my Japanese friends bash me because I called myelf that once when I didn't fully understand it. O_~

No... for me Bishonen are not all feminine looking, but simply handsome in their own ways. Lets see. Ill just go and list every series I own.

RK - Aoshi
(of course. what else. does it surprise you?)

Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne - Noyn
(I confess I read this series.)

Angel Sanctuary - Katou? Katan? All of them?
(they are too much if you ask me, good)

Magic Knight Rayearth - Lantis??
(he looks just as good as a Clamp character can look... so... ugly... I dunno... I dont really like it...)

Slayers - Zelgadis
(he belongs to my sister, and i dont dare challenging her)

Orphen - Orphen
:P

DN Angel - Dark
(he belongs to Nymph. I dont dare challenging her)

Wei Kreuz - Ken
(my sister stole Aya, yo i had to choose Ken.)

I dont remember... anymore...

Because I'm a straight guy I don't eaxtly have a favorite bishonen, but here goes.

Heero Yuy is cool. (In lieu of the fact that he's bishonen.)

I can't believe none of you have brought up Touga from Revolutionary Girl Utena. There's also Akio, Saionji(Of course he isn't a nice character), Mickey. (He's one of those who's actually cool independently of bishonen..erm..ness. yeah bishonenness.)

Guy's like to bash bishonens because it makes us feel like bigger men, but it really doesn't accomplish anything. However there is the biggest bishonen of all in my opinion.

Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugii. You don't even know that "she" is really a "he" until episode 5. (or is it 6?) He looks crazy dressed as a woman, but he looks even crazier dressed as a man.

I don't bash bishonens. What's the point. It's a lot like gay bashing. People do it because of their own insecurities. They think they'll feel more secure, but every time they bash the insecurity only gets worse. These people get to the point where they're convinced they have to fight off homosexuality within themselves. I've realized that the only way to defeat a beast within is to deny it battle. To be truly secure is about one's self is to not care what one thinks of one's self. Sure this is off topic, but I bet at least one of you wonders why guys hate bishonens so much. Girls also like the pretty boys more. lol. We can get jealous.
