Okay Escape from New York was made 1981 its squel Escape from LA was made 1996.
The orignal Metal Gear was made 1987.
So good chance it was influnced by the movie but no it was not a Metal Gear movie. Plus it had no Metal Gear a Snake a lot of sneaking and shoot outs yes. Walking nuclear tank no. Though the movies all had a World crisis must be fixed by one man theme.

I have Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsitence and it has a bonus disc called Excistence. It's pretty much a movie like version of the game which you can watch. It's kinda long though 3 hours ish, but it's pretty acurate as far as ingame details go.

The first Star Ocean has a great story. A remake should be made, and it could fit well as a movie too.

Resident Evil was already adapted,but the story was invented.I really like a movie with the true story.Resident Evil 3 in particular.Nemesis was realistic on Apocalypse (the 2nd movie), but it doesn't the real history.And me, I really want this story adapted in movie, with good actors, and the Nemesis of Apocalypse movie.

Nemsis was actually no where close to the real game plot in weapons nor background. Nemsis in RE3 had a Tentacle he used to kill people with instead of a gaitling gun. And as the game progressed he started to mutate into an even more Tentacled version, until the end where he was so kind of giant dog monster. Also the Background behind Nemsis is that its a 2 part creature a Tyrant Body and a Parasite brain you find that out in weskers journal I don't rememeber which game but I think the Remake that was on Gamecube. While it looked mostly like the RE3 Nemsis the movie nemsis had only that in common.
I was also ticked that they just introduced Jill with out background since the hive was where all the Zombies where and the Hive being opened was only a few days before Racoon went to Necro town from my impression.
So yes I would like a good Resident Evil Movie that actually follows the plot of a game. Maybe 4 since that would be easy to do and intresting. I think the only thing they would have to change was where the Plagua came from since prehistoric Parasites sealed up for a good 100 years or more with out hosts wouldn't exactly work.

Someone mentioned the Michael Jackson's Moonwalker should be made into a movie. Just to let them know, the movie came out before the game :).

I didn't really think about that, lol. But now that I am, do you think that there would be many actors willing to do that? since it's not their own voice and everything... I know that would kind of offend me if someone asked me to do a movie and then told me they wanted my voice done by someone else. But I don't know if that matters to most actors as much as getting paid?

Metal Gear Solid could definitely be made. Those having concern about Snake's voice should know that Hayter is actually an actor, and that with proper training (maybe getting in better shape, and train to look like a real special op guy), I think he could take on the role.

I'd like to see the Onimusha series put into a movie...or maybe the Need for Speed undergrounds...Fast and the Furious didn't quite cut it for me...

Every time a game is turned into a movie...it tends to suck real bad and go so far off from the game its not even funny.

I think one of the games from the 'Tales...' Series should be made into a movie. I've only played three of the games but the storyline is decent and I wouldn't mind watching a movie on one of them.

I've beaten Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia. Tales of Legendia had an okay story, but it wasn't compelling me to continue sometimes, so I won't stress that title.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is also one I've played, but I wouldn't count it to the series. It's basically like Kingdom Hearts. There are a few cameo Tales characters and you're going on another plot that was made to fit the world you're on.

Let's see... The Super Smash Bros. Series, the Metroid Prime series and the Starfox Series would be nice. An animated Kingdom Hearts and a CG Super Mario movie would be neat too.

I almost forgot one more series, Fire Emblem!

If there's going to be a Metroid movie, they've probably already started working on it, just so the CG can be perfect. I think they should make each of the Prime games a different movie, maybe even add Hunters just to explain where the other bounty hunters came from.
