This looks pretty shitty. What sort of tech demo is it? Windows 98? It looks fan-made to me. The attacks are too long and the graphics are too bad. Never would a serious company want to create a tech demo that looks like it was made nearly a decade ago.
BTW - I could never see Square putting Celes/Terra in a thong.

I know nothing about it lol. My cousin emailed me the link and I just posted it for you guys to check it out lol. Does look pretty crappy. He told me it was a N64 demo but I find that hard to believe.

It is possible that it was an early N64 demo, although it seems more unlikely because of it's relatively recent release at the time. I still think it's a fan-made demo.
Guys, that actually is an N64 tech demo, kind of like the FFVIII one that was made for PS2.

Oh, wow!
Thank you--
I've always heard about this tech demo, but I never found it...
It looks funny....XD
It must have been the tech demo, rather than "gameplay for N64 footage", since all the normal attacks take so long and are so cinematic....
Ive seen this before, it is funny if you consider the technology we have today.

wow...... you kids are spoiled. ;) you think that looks horrible, but in 1996 that was awesome. that was just the tech demo to show what could be done w/the N64 hardware, but it wasn't playable, and wasn't for an upcoming game - they just used FF6 characters in it.

Considering the fog that plagued alot of N64 games, this does look pretty good.

Living in my current year makes me spoiled? Maybe so, but I cannot time travel, so I cannot learn to appreciate the graphics of 96. Ultimately we have no choice but to have some EXPECTATIONS.

Poor Tina, that must be painful.
And yeah, that's awesome for the N64. O.o
All the other games look horrible compared with that.
But who needs graphics when you have plot?

...
On another note. Technology destroys today's gamers. I know people older than me who won't touch a classic FF just because it's "2-D" and apparently, 2-D graphics suck.

i know, i understand you can't turn back time. but you also have to look at what the other games of the period looked like - it's relative to that, not to what we have today. we're talking 10 years ago.

10 years ago, we had Super Mario 64. I don't think that this tech demo accurately portrays the N64's full capabilities.
