Okay, so at first, this game kinda bugged me.
The jobs and abilities systems werent very good, and a lack of save points after losing to an agrivating boss were all pains.
So I gave it another try...started to enjoy it abit more, but then it just got even more ridiculous.
The final battles consist of 6 enemies, 4 of which have 99,999 and one with 120,00.
There are no save points at all during this point and I have done it 3 times already and lost each one.
Ugh...its just such a pain...
Thoughts?

Yeah, it is such a pain. You could spend an hour or two in the final dungeon, up to the point of fighting the final boss without being able to save. It's even worse for me because my copy of the game has frozen several times when a battle is being loaded. The game just freezes and the bottom screen stays white.

what level are you when you go in there?
What I usually do is level up, then when in dungeon just run away from every random battle. This saves alot of time and frustration. The last boss is level 60. So make sure you are atleast that level. Try to do some side quests for stronger weapons. Have you done any?

Yeah lol. Fight atleast at 60. I great place to level is bahamut's lair. You'll get 5700 exp for every fight in the second room of lair. The fights are easy and fast. You'll level in no time.

What are your job levels?
My party consisted of
Onion Knight: Because they can melee pretty good and they are able to use white and black magic till level 8.
Summoner: Bahamut is strong and I just love summons lol.
Thief: Because they attack strong at lvl 99. I melee hit with my thief about 9999. Plus they steal lol. Although most of the items tyou steal in the game are some type of potion. Unless you fight in secret dungeon and you steal elixirs from dragons.
Devout: Because of lvl 1- 8 white magic.
Im really not sure about the sages because of I never used them and I know ninjas are strong. I had a knight I liked them but I thought the onion knight was better. Also in crystal tower try to have ribbons equipped because certain bosses use alot of status effects. Good luck!!

Looking forward to helpin and getting help in gettin my Ultimate weapon/Onion Knight! thanks =)

Its enough you need an annoying friend code just to send mail, but just as you mentioned switching to symbols just to space is really annoying. I love the game though.
You can just change the time on your DS to send as many letters as you want. When you hit 11:00 o'clock, remember to switch the date as well, since going to 12:00 w/o doing it will SEND YOU BACK IN TIME :-P

Just a friendly warning: this can SERIOUSLY screw up your game. I don't recomend going forwward one hour just so you can send more mail.
Why is that? I'm seriously asking, I'm curious. I haven't done it, YET.
