Keep in mind that this is a NES title remade for the DS, so in terms of gameplay length, it's not going to last terribly long. I can see the game being finished in as low as 20 hours. But if you level up a lot and do all the sidequests, it should last you 30-40. There are very few sidequests, I've noticed a slight lag in battles when there are at least three enemies on screen, or just a lot of action generally happening at once. The Wi-Fi options is decent, but it lacks a lot of potential. If you've never played the original, its definately worth a rental, and probably a buy.

Well, it has great graphics, very improved and its pretty basic.
But the ability system along with Jobs is kinda a pain.
And it gets really aggrivating some times...but it is still worth playing.

They're not the same.
FFIII was an NES title and FFVI was a title for the SNES.

The game is good. Storywise now too much, but gameplay is great. Im really addicted to this game at the moment. Im about 40 hrs in and im up to the final dungeon. My characters are level 63 and I have 4 job classes at 99. The game adds alot of playability if you're into leveling every job and doing every sidequest. You should really buy it.

Trying to master all the jobs would probably be the most time-consuming task in video game history.

I know lol. If I didnt have so many other games to play I would do it, but I dont see it happeneing any time soon lol. Did you fight the Iron Giant? Im level 65 and I tried the fight (knowing he's level 81 lol) and I got dominated lol.

Depends on which FF3 you actually mean. If you mean the American release of FFVI for the SNES, yeah, that one's rockin'. If you mean FFIII for the NES which was remade for the DS, well, The NES version was good, but can't say for the DS version, haven't tried it yet.

I AM planning on getting the game. Just that it's much farther down on my list than the Opera DS browser (right after that, in fact). Probably gonna get it sometime later this month or early next month.

It's not too bad though I haven't completed it (haven't had time). It's nothing spectacular, but I recommend you give it a try.

My opinion: BUY THE GAME!!!! it is easy but challenging at the same time, and with all the DS features and WI-FI, i suggest you buy it
