Staring
Absolute fear overcomes by body
Frozen in a room of despair
To finally be released
With no thoughts in my mind
Of understanding the world around me
What is going on here?
My captors have shown me freedom
And I feel so free
And happy
But so many things have changed
Locked away for 15 years
Never tasted fresh air without the scent of death
Never seen an area not covered in sheets of blood
Never seen a person who did not want to kill me
But now I can
I feel like an angel escaped from Hell
Flying through the cotton clouds
That suddenly turn to darkness
And rain falls upon my skin
Never felt that before
Drip, drop, drip, drop
I count each raindrop to myself
And my memories of the cell room.......
.....cut deep into my core
I want vengeance
I must find my captors
And finish them
One by one
Make them suffer
Make them pay
But being in this world has found me love
I cant think what side to choose
My soul consumes me
All I ever wanted went to waste
As each one who falls to my hammer
I begin to love death
Each kill gets easier and easier
I love it so
My past echoes away
I am an animal of vengeance
A man bent on destruction

Beautiful....shows how the darkness can both envelope and keep hold of a person, and yet feel so natural, as if it were instinct. I like the line where he compares himself to an animal...playing on those instincts. I also really love the triplet lines that begin with Never....repitition is wonderful in this case, then it is resolved with the last, short line. Another wonderful poem by a talented poet! I can't wait until I read more!!!!
You actually enjoy his drivel? You think he's talented? I knew there had to be a single person in the world with poor enough taste to think so, but I never imagined she'd find her way here.

As a published poet, I know beginning talent when I see it. Poor fools who can't....*shakes head*

So...you're a published poet, a successful musician, and an ace artist, all before your twenty-second birthday? And you managed to do all this and spend more than a little time on an interweb forum, while living at home with a 400 lb. mother who beats you regularly? The more I read from you, the more I'm inclined to think you're completely full of crap.
It does certainly seem quite suspicious.
Anyway, if you want people to take you seriously when you say you're a published poet, you have to list where you've been published, as well as how many poems you've had published.
And besides that, even most published poetry is shit because no less than 99.999% of poetry is shit by nature.

I stay busy most of the time...yes, I am published and yes, I am a quiet successful musicialn locally. Yes i do have a 400lb mother who tends to hit me, but i don't want to talk about that. ^^ And yes, I run tons of RPGs all across the net. I believe in making something of myself before I die, so I just engage in alot of activities.... I have to agree with you, its pretty hard to believe, but it was also hard to achieve. I work extra hard and I know how to push myself. I didn't say I was an ace artist, but I've sold a few pieces to help out around home. and yes, I'm only 21. I still haven't fulfilled my dream of designing video games though....which is the main thing i want to accomplish before I die...so it's not like I'm comfortable where I'm at. >.<' I plan on moving out soon. Plus please don't make it sound bigger than it is... I merely do things I enjoy...and most think I'm good at them....so I get paid, okay. It's not like I'm some super genius. For example, i suck at math LOL....so yeah.... I jt know how to apply myself in the areas I do best.

Eh, I still think it's bullshit. For the most part... But if I tell you I dislike you'll post stupid emoticons and get all fucking uppidy because someone doesn't like you and you'll take it as a compliment. Then probably babble about Crowley when nobody gives a shit, you're worse than me, World of Warcraft, and Roy Mustang.

I agree, gogo list.
Also, Chunky, you forgot that she sings Jpop too. I assume you've got to learn Japanese to do that one.

Actually I don't do much of anything O.o I really just tell the truth, and am not afraid to tell the truth. It just amuses me how someone who claims all publushed poetry as crap can even give a half rats arse striaght remark about poetry <.<' No offense to those with little to no skill for writing whatsoever, but if you suck....don't try to rant on about things you know next to nothing about. ^^ And yes, I do sing J-pop and know a little bit of Japanese. So what? Don't get all jealous because you don't know much about it... Also, I'm not uppity at all... I don't believe in flaunting myself, just telling the truth. But if you guys feel so threatened that you have to paste rude remark after rude remark, so be it. Some people are just more talented than others. Get over it. ^^
haha what wonderful arrogance. If it was justified, I'd make you my disciple in an instant. Alas, you still have far to go.

Whatever you say -_- Nevertheless, you have great talent, Bizzarro. I'm not one for arguing, so yeah...I'm tired of listening to the ignorants make claims of clear stupidity. It was amusing for awhile, but now it's getting slightly annoying, seeing as they keep sounding like broken records with the same useless arsenal of insults. If you're gonna make remarks, at least make some that hold some slight worth and stop making fools of yourself. It's....well.... embarrasing...<.<'

I'm still laughing at this shit. I just needed to note the great job on justifing yourself and gaining some credibilty with that list of stuff you have published. Brilliant. I was blown away.
GUYZ, I GOT POETRY PULBISHED AND I KNOW WOT IM TALKING ABOOT, j00 GUYZ GOT NO TALETN EVEN THOUHG I DONT KNOW NOTHIGN BOUT U GUYZ! DONT BEE JEALOUS!!!1!!
L O fucking L. Next thing I know you're going to tell us you're an established signiture maker on an online graphic community. It'll go from LOL to ROFL.
Crowley_Ism

No, I just started making signatures, and don't like to spend time making them at all.... >.<' I have too much roleplaying to do to be messing around in photoshop recently, so I just get sig requests and pump em out in 2 minutes flat.... Nothing special though. I mush rather be doing art with a pen or pencil in a sketch book. ^^ Though it'd be nice to be in an online graphic community...But I'm already in charge of too many forums to be going and joining in others....
Forums really eat up time. I barely have enough time for band practice anymore...-_- Plus we recently lost a band member due to her having to move away to another college, which sux. We're still trying to get over the blow. But anyways, yeah...online graphics community sounds cool, though I doubt I'd join.
Bah...sorry I forgot to post some of the places I've been published. :
International Library of poetry in their recent poetry book, Timeless Voices. I posted my poem that got into the book in my poetry thread.
I've had a couple posted in the same place, but I never bought the book, just recieved a certificate a money. I think the book is called something entirely different though. I believe the poems I got published there (there was 2 I think, before...) were both still dedicated to things/ideas/monsters based on the Silent Hill Games.
I've recieved a letter in the mail that one of my latest pieces also made the cut and will be published, and I've been chosen as one of the semi-finalists this time. YAY!!! Cross your fingers >.<'
Besides that, I've had a few of my poems, alot of them religious or patriotic based in local newspapers around here. I've gotten into a few of the school magazines, in which my poem was sent to one of the contests state-wide....I usually made it to the finals...but was only a runner up once. I recieved money and a certificate >.<'
I'm going to continue to send my poetry in to various places and be pubished in poetry books... I've only bought one of the books with my poetry in it so far, the Timeless Voices... in which my poem Echoes from the Past grace one of the pages ^^ Other than that, I tend not to buy the books...I'm thankful enough to get money and a little certificate lol Besides, I keep my old original copies of my poetry anyways so....yeah.....>.<'

Okay, I won't argue your published stuff, mainly because I don't care. But explain from a published poet's point of view why this poem is so good.

Arr. Oh. Eff. El. This is freaking great. Following this entertaining brand of dislogic, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are founts of musical knowledge, because they've sold a bajillion records. Here's the delicious part: Following the dislogic further, one can't speak of Crowley unless one leads a cult and creates monsters with a magic elixir.

I suppose I could take pictures of the book with my poem in it....or take a snapshot of the page it's on or something. I'll get around to doing it soon, k? But I have the actual poem up in my poetry thread typed out. I wish I had a scanner....perhaps I can get my b/f to scan the page or something....if not I'll take it on my trip with me and see if anyone has a digicam. <.<' My digicam broke recently, and if you look at my doodle thread you'll see it was a crappy cam anyways LOL But yes, I'll scan it in soon, straight from the book it was published in. Now I wish I would have bought all three books >.<'
EDIT: And, Chunky, I don't mind you speaking of Crowley as long as it's nothing degrading and whatnot. If you have something to say about him that I wouldn't like to hear, I'd rather you keep it to yourself ^^

You know what? As well-respected member of the Online Bullshit Detection Squad...I'd say that Crowley needs to provide pix or it didn't happen.
Also BS, I am half-tempted to pay you large sums of cash to promise never to write poetry again because that shit is so painfully asinine.

Working on getting pics of the page, as I said. I'm gonna try to scan the page when I visit my b/f's house today or soon.....or maybe my relatives has a scanner. >.<' Regaurdless, I'll have it up.

LoL. Let me get this straight: It's okay to talk about...whatever, if you're saying something your 'audience' wants to hear, regardless of whether you know a thing about your subject or not, but if your 'audience' doesn't want to hear it, then you suddenly need to be credible? What a load of bologna.
Since we're far off-topic here, I'd like to point out how BS's posting rate (especially of his, erm, poems) has skyrocketed since Crowley Ism started posting. If it wasn't clear before that he just wanted his ego stroked, then one would think that's painfully obvious now.

But you heavily implied in this very thread that you have to be a poet to comment on poetry. I'm merely following your logic to its, well, logical ramifications.

Like how Mako Reactor is exempt from how repetitive FF music it but it is in fact, a good repetitive. Just because you like something doesn't mean it gets any fucking cherries on top, more likely it should be shit on because it most likely sucks.
LOL, Crowley doesn't even hold a candle to Brigadier General Roy Mustang, The Flame Alchemist; (Yeah I totally tried to make up something good so I could use his title) and that ladies and gentlemen, is fact. See, I can play fangirl too but Mustang is actually better and not from a 2nd rate video game no one cares about.
