Wow really? I found her to be so bothersome. Kingdom Hearts Yuffie is fine, but FF7 Yuffie? Not so much.

I have no real beef with Yuffie, though she is not a favourite of mine as such. I like her more than some, but less than others. Like others said, the only real thing she did that was annoying was mess up the materia.

Although I said Tifa is my most hated (and that still stands), I also dislike Yuna (more so FFX-2 Yuna), Rosa, Rinoa and Ashe.

Yuffie messes up your materia and puts you on your toes. Gets you thinking about other configurations. Rattles your complacency.

I dont have a character that i hate. Ok you could say Brahne, but her point in the plot was to hate her, and then feel sorry about her when she dies. Eiko was a bit annoying at times but i quite liked her (she was funny too). Well if Yuffie acts the same way she acts in advent children, i will never play the game with her :)

As sad as it is to say I like Yuffie I have no idea why maybe because of her spirit? Who knows but as for most hated FF female I don't have one but I guess Relm from FFVI since I never use her at all unless forced to.

Intriguing. But Relm and Yuffie always felt like kindred spirits to me. Although I will agree that Relm is a lot less useful in battle.

Its not just spirit I also have a thing for asians and unusal colored ladies. -Shrug- not quite sure where it comes from. As for it Yuffie is a lot better then Relm because of her Limit breaks which are if properly leveled and equiped some of the best for their none or culamtive damage. Relm painted her oppents and I usually got squat or it wasn't all that usefull when I experminted with her.

Agent and Revaninja-happy to say I agree with you on Yuffie. Hardly a 'deep' character exactly, but she did bring a certain comic quality to the game, and the Wutai Materia quest was excellent. Although, to be fair, that was probably equally down to Corneo's pathetic behaviour and watching the tables turned on him by the Turks. :-P

Careful what you say-you say she can't do anything for herself-that may be true in FFX, well it's definitely true but that doesn't equal a bad character. To be honest, the same could be said of many female characters in the series. Rinoa, Aeris, Garnet.......could say exactly the same about all them. I guess that has to do a fair bit with Square's ideals about female characters and generally society's ideals as a whole. But before I start into a rant about that, let me point out that Yuna did change in the latter part of X and more significantly FFX-2 as a result of realising her flaws in that department.

By the way, if you've used Bahamut's Giga Flare on FFX, you'll also see that she is both exciting and useful in battle. ;-)

In terms of character, Yuna is easily the strongest female character. Knowing that she will die, she continues her journey to summon the final aeon. She sucrifices her happiness for the rest of Spira to live free of terror.

In battle, she is quite usefull to me. Her white magic is quite usefull, and her Holy spell is just amazing. ;)
Plus, she is the only character that can summon Aeons.

As far as Final Fantasy female leads go, Yuna was probably the least useless, for already-stated reasons.

The main FF character that stands out in my mind as being particularly annoying has to be Yuffie out of FF7. I just thought she was so pointless.

My reasons: She is by far the most boring characters not only form Final Fantasy series, but allso the most boring female character I ever saw in a game. The best thing she can do to express herself in FFX is staring at anything without saying something. In FFX2 her personality cjanges a little, but she's allmost the same weak, booring character.
I must tell you again that I'm not talking about her role in the battle... Just her role in the storyline, wich is important, so she should be atleast interesting

Although Yuna's voice was extremely annoying, the fight with Evrae was probably the hardest boss for me without having her to heal. She was actually quite a useful character. xP

Dona and Shelinda. Both were frighteningly annoying and made me want to mute the TV.

As for Yuna, her voice actor pretty much ruined the character for me. With a different voice or even no voice at all, her quiet but strong personality-type would have agreed with me a lot better than it did.

To me, Aeris was rather annoying. More so than Yuffie. She was obnoxious and not in a funny way, either.

I found Rinoa to be annoying. Didn't like her much. And I thought Tifa was usless in battle. I liked her personality, but I prefer to not use her in battle.

No, she wasn't one of my favorite characters, yet I did appreciate the addition of a cute 6-year-old girl whom could hold her own in battle, and even though she largely retained her childish behavior, she was wise beyond her years. Her background and antics deserve extra cool points, too!

Ok, back on topic. My least favorite female character would have to be Yuna - during FF X, in particular. Ironically, even though she was very useful in battle, and X's story portrayed her as one of the most resolute female FF characters (I can't deny that), I found her personality unbelievably dull, and in general, the way she spoke was reminiscent of an automated voice message. I wanted to hear, at least, some semblance of life in your tone, woman!

I would go with Larsa, wait it's a dude lol. Than I would go with Freya.
