Does this game have any sort of overdrives / limits system? I'm just wondering because I'm about ten hours in and haven't come across anything like it yet. "Yes" or "No" will do.

Okay, I've seen those Quickenings on the License Board, but I wasn't sure what they were. I don't have any yet, but I nearly have enough points to get one. Thanks.

Oh, and Quickenings is a cool name.

I got the Feral Strike for Fran. I don't normally care for ones that require you to push a button really quickly a bunch of time, but it was still pretty cool.

Hey Agent try to Edit instead of Double post :)

You should get quickenings as soon as possible.

Hey, Ubernoob --- it's called "bumping" a thread that hasn't had any activity in a while.

P.S. --- I noticed that you're only allowed three Quickenings per character? Anything I should be wary of when selecting them?

None that I can think of.

and sorry Agent I did'nt know that the first thread was older. :)

The onl ythig to be wary of, is planning which 3 each char gets. What i mean by that is, it is a heck of a lot easier to have one char get all his/her quickenings in the same area. You dont want to get one in the southwest corner for fran, lets say, then have her go and get one in teh northwest. You dont have to, but imo, it is much easier to keep things neat lol.

For example, i had penelo take all of the quickenings in the first half of the board, where all the magics are. Meanwhile i had fran take all the quickenings along the bottom row of the 2nd board half.

Hrm. I guess it really depends on your style of play to some degree, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks. Oh, and do all Quickenings consume all available MP?

Yes, they do

they do, but if u have say 2 or 3 quickenings, if u have someone else use say another quickening and u can chain it, u could use ur lvl 3 quickening (that would normally consume 3 bars if u activate it) and only have it consume 1/3 bars that u have. So u could chain 3 lvl 3 quickenings for the price of say a lvl 1 quickening. How often does this happen? very seldom, because each time u get higher in chain the bar u have gets faster and faster. I know its confusing right now because u only have a few, but u will get it soon enough.

If u have 1 quickening u only have one whole bar of mp. But if u have 2 u have 2 bars of mp, and same for 3 u have 3 bars.

If it doesn't screw with the Mp Bar as it has been known to do on an occasion. Where it doesn't give all three bars but stops on the first one is the glitch I am talking about.

Now if you need to ask this question go to Q&A thread to do so. Don't Necro post in a couple months old Thread. Its considered dead usually if the thread has no been posted in for more then a month.
