Now I know many of you may not be to fond of the RE series but if you are then listen to the music while playing RE2. The music for RE2 stands out from the rest of the games. It gives it that feel of trying to survive. Just listen while you're playing in the lobby of the police station.

Yes it does, I totally agree with you. I am a total Resident Evil fan and have all soundtracks to pretty much all games.

RE2 truly had the best soundtrack out of all the REs. I love the ambient stuff, and "The 3rd Malformation of G" ranks among my favorite final boss themes. The "true" staff roll theme is also kickin'.

I found that the music, when you're in the police station library, was particularly dreadful - back when I was an 11-year-old kid, playing the game with the lights off.

Much fun I had. Haha. ^_^

I agree. The RE2 BGM just fit the game perfectly. It's the closest video game music you'll get to that of a cult zombie movie. Expecially the music in the beginning, when you're running thru the city, which very much reminded me of George Ramero's Return of the Living Dead.

I concur. Resident Evil 2 has the best music out of all of them. It gives the correct feeling of isolation and abandonment.
I particularly like tracks 'Nothing More To Do Here', 'Secure Place', 'The Library', 'The Second Floor', and there's so many more too.

WOOHOOHOO!!! Finally people with the same taste as mine!!

I totally love the re series... and all of it's soundtracks! My favorite is the music in the front hall of rpd!! hehehe

but is it me or the ost in re4 seems a bit off... probably because its not the same zombie hunting anymore...

I liked the RE4 soundtrack. The thing is, the game emphasizes action more than suspense, so the music has an overall different "flavor" to it.

Yeah, RE2's music was really good (like 'Secure Place'), but something about 0's music is really more appealing to me (like 'Uneasiness').

HOSHI-

Umbrella Chronicles' new trailer features a rock remix of "Wreckage of the Mad Experiment" from RE2. It kicks so much ass.

Did anybody of you play Resident Evil Survivor? Does it have anything to do with the other games? I was a bit younger and didn't understand that much English when I played it on the PS1 and also... it's long ago.. ;)

I only remember that I had fun, but it wasn't that catchy atmosphere in it.. like in the first three parts

I'm not sure I have the complete OST from RE 4 but.. are there many Tracks with background sounds on it??

There are spooky tracks on it, of course.. I listened to it again, I use some of them for RPG, very nice one

But which I didn't like that much was the RE Veronica OST.. I miss the scary atmosphere and suspense in the tracks..

I love the RE:CV soundtrack(s). I wanna get the one with the dialogue in it with Claire and Steve. Does anyone have that?

Otherwise I have played RE2, and I have yet to encounter Mr. X. That has gotta be cool to see him approaching you...

Ok, I found out I don't have the real Soundtrack of the Game -.-
It's something else like Promotion Media..
Whatever only 8 of the tracks I have are on the Original Soundtrack..
So, I don't know whether it's good or not :(

All of the soundtracks were amazing to me like in RE 2: the track -"Goodbye Leon" its when Ada was shoot in the shoulder and when hanging over the edge was a sad moment or when Nemesis transformed at the end of RE3, or when Chris sets of the security alarm in RE:CV. Capcom does an amazing job capturing people with the music they put in all of there games!!!!!

Does anyone know where to find the soundtrack "Biohazard 2 Drama Album: Ada"?

Zidane_FF
12-03-2007, 11:54 PM
I am looking for that Ada Album too. If anyone can help could be nice.

By the way, the music of Resident Evil 2 is nice, not the better in my opinion that for me is RE3 Nemesis.

Resident Evil 2 has the most strange plot holes. Some of they.

* Do you people already asking yourselves about how Claire and Leon manage to arrive in the city freely in Setember 29? It looks that all roads are free, so a lot of zombies maybe go to other cities. So in RE3 and Outbreak there are a lot of barricades, which is really more real. And Jill and Carlos really cannot go out of the city.

* Another strange one: if what Birkin was working was the G-Virus and it was that capsule that becames in contact with rats, why everyone speaks that T-Virus is what contaminated all people? For RE2 it was the G, as Annet speaks with Ada and Claire. So we would have an army of G-Types instead of zombies.

i absolutely LOVE the cue "Secure Place" from RE2. It plays when you get to the dark room in the police station with the save typewriter. It probably plays in other spots but that's the one that jumps out at me.

Agreed. The save theme, "Secure Place", is so beautiful. Best save theme I've ever heard.
