Being the site's unnoficial FFI expert, I'm having an FFI quiz show to jump on the proverbial bandwagon. Note the fact that this will be based entirely on the NES version and not at all on Dawn of Souls. If you know more stuff from Dawn of Souls, then tough cookies.
The rules are simple: I ask a fastest finger question involving putting stuff in order. Whoever gets it right first gets into the hot seat and plays for a million G. (whatever the hell G is; it's never specified) All questions will come from FFI. You will start with three lifelines: 50:50, Phone a Friend, and Ask the Audience. In addition, because I'm so evil, I'm going to throw in some surprise lifelines, many of them being silly. I'll also put in some serious ones at the upper levels, like ask the experts, but those will be entirely spontaneous as well.
That said, here's the first fastest finger:
Put these spells in order by level, starting with the lowest:
A. Fir2
B. Qake
C. Fade
D. Bane
Swedish Fish

Sounds like a good idea.
A
D
B
C
EDIT: By Bane, did you mean Banish?

10-27-2006, 09:34 PM
You are correct, Kalias. And BTW, I did not mean banish; I meant bane. I'm using FFI NES names.
Anyway, here's your 100 G question:
Which of these is a class you can chose for your characters?
A. Kyzokou
B. Black Belt
C. Chuck Norris
D. Blue Mage
Swedish Fish
10-27-2006, 09:35 PM
B. Black Belt
That explains it then.
FF1WithAllThieves
10-28-2006, 05:14 PM
Correct. For 200 G:

A. Garlic
B. Garland
C. Atropos
D. William Cullen Bryant
Swedish Fish

Correct for 200 G. For 300 G:
Which of the following is not a variation of a Wolf?
A. GrWolf
B. WrWolf
C. FrWolf
D. WzWolf
Swedish Fish
10-28-2006, 06:29 PM
D. WzWolf
FF1WithAllThieves, the idea of a FF I millionere is excellent. Keeep it up!:D
FF1WithAllThieves
10-29-2006, 08:50 PM
Correct for 300 G. I like to use the first three questions to throw in some extra silly questions. Now for 500 G:
What is the name of the captain of the pirates in Pravoka?
A. Bikke
B. Blackbeard
C. Arylon
D. Bob
Swedish Fish
10-29-2006, 11:40 PM
A. Bikke
FF1WithAllThieves
10-30-2006, 12:32 AM
Correct! You now have 500 G. You are now playing for 1000 G; if you get this question, you can't get any less. Let's play.
What kind of Dragon is encountered in the Castle of Ordeals?
A. Gas D
B. Red D
C. Frost D
D. Zombie D
Swedish Fish
10-30-2006, 12:50 AM
D. Zombie D
FF1WithAllThieves
10-30-2006, 04:54 AM
Correct! You have won 1000 G and can no leave with no less. We'll be right back after these messages.
Narrator: Tired of spending fifteen minutes in the item store buying heals?
Fighter: Oh, for the love of God!!! Just let me buy 99 now and be done with it.
Store Owner: What do you want?
Fighter: *sigh* Heal
Store Owner: 50 G OK?
Fighter: Yes
Store Owner: Thank you! Anything else?
Fighter: Buy
Store Owner: What do you want?
Narrator: Don't waste your time buying 1 heal at a time. Buy our brand new Heal equipment. Use it in battle as many times as you want. It will never run out! Comes in helmets, staves, and rods.
Welcome back to "Who Wants to be a Final Fantasy I Millionaire?" Kalias is in the hot seat going for 2000 G. Are you ready? I'm not waiting for you to post an answer, so let's play!
What is the maximum number of monsters you can fight in one battle?
A. 7
B. 6
C. 9
D. 11
Swedish Fish
10-30-2006, 08:12 PM
Crap. I'm torn between two answers. I don't want to use a lifeline yet, so here goes nothing.
C. 9
FF1WithAllThieves
10-30-2006, 10:00 PM
Correct for 2000 G! You made an excellent guess. 9 is the maximum number of monsters that fit on the screen, and that's the most you'll face in a battle.
And now the lifeline "Eat a Waffle House Chocolate pie in two Bites" has become availible. This one's on the honor system, and if you're using it, tell me when you will go to waffle house and attempt it. If you fail, you lose the lifeline, but you gain time to think about it. If you succeed, I will change three of the wrong answers into different wrong answers and leave the correct answer the same.
Here is your 4000 G question:
If you choose the Red Mage class for one of your characters, which of the following spells will he not be able to learn until after class change?
A. Lit3
B. Fir3
C. Nuke
D. Ice2
Swedish Fish
10-31-2006, 02:17 AM
This certainly lives up to its name. I'm pretty sure I know which one it is, but I'm still worried. I'm take a chance again.
A. Lit3
FF1WithAllThieves
11-01-2006, 11:11 PM
Correct! Fir3 and Ice2 are accessible to a Red Mage, and Nuke is never accessible to a Red Wizard. Good job with that one. Here's your 8000 G question:
Which of the following is not a variation of a Geist?
A. Specter
B. Ghoul
C. Ghost
D. Zombie
Swedish Fish
11-02-2006, 02:31 AM
How many questions do I have left?
As I remember the Geist thingies were zombieish looking, so my answer is C. Ghost, seeing as it is a ghost and not a zombie.
FF1WithAllThieves
11-02-2006, 10:26 PM
Correct again, for 8000 G. I tried to trick you with the fact that Geist is Ghost in German, but you didn't fall for it. We'll be back, right after this message:
Narrator: Tired of Pirates, with their town-overtaking, fairy-bottling, and usual trash talk?
Bikke: Arrrr!
Other Pirate: Avast, ye landlubbers, stay out of me way!
Narrator: Then give the Light Warriors a call! We'll take care of the pirates for little charge; all you have to do is give us some random, stupid piece of advice that we already knew anyway, and we're on the job because we have to advance the plot regardless!
And welcome back to "Who Wants to be a Final Fantasy I Millionaire?"! I have Kalias here with me, and he's doing extremely well. He's going for 16000 G and he still has all his lifelines. All right, let's play!
Where can you find the Rune sword using the Mystic Key?
A. Temple of Fiends
B. Corneria
C. The Dwarf Cave
D. The Marsh Cave
Swedish Fish
11-03-2006, 12:23 AM
I'm pretty sure you get it the second or third time you go to the Temple of Fiends.
A. Temple of Fiends
FF1WithAllThieves
11-05-2006, 11:47 PM
Correct. You now have 16000 G and are one question away from another "check point." Let's play!
Which of these bosses can you fight more than one of in a battle screen?
A. Eye
B. Wz. Vampire
C. Warmech
D. Vampire
Edit: Sorry for the late post. I've been awfully busy.

No problem. I`ve been away anyway. I think that I`ll use use the 50:50 lifeline. I`m really not sure at all.
FF1WithAllThieves
11-08-2006, 01:33 AM
Alright. Computer, (and by computer, I mean the penny I'm flipping) eliminate two of the wrong answers randomly, leaving only one wrong answer and the correct answer. Also, correct my question since I was too dumb to word it correctly.
Which of these is a boss that you can fight more than one of in a battle screen?
B. Wz. Vampire
D. Vampire
Swedish Fish
11-09-2006, 12:27 AM
D. Vampire. I was stuck between it and the Eye.
FF1WithAllThieves
11-09-2006, 11:16 PM
Correct. Vampire is the only boss in the game that appears later as more than one enemy at once, aside from the Elemental monsters (Earth, Fire etc...) Congratulations, you've won 32000 G and you can leave with no less! We'll be right back after my piano lesson, I mean, this short break.

Narrator: Tired of getting ineffectives when you attack?
Fighter: Argh! I just got an ineffective when I attacked!
Narrator: Well, have we got a deal for you?
Fighter: What's that?

I apologize on behalf of WikiAdmin. He's a noob and totally not me.
Anyway, your 64000 G question:
Where is the only place you can talk to bats that don't say "kee kee"?
A. Temple of Fiends
B. Astos' Castle
C. Marsh Cave
D. Sky Castle
Swedish Fish
11-13-2006, 04:10 AM
I'm cessentially cluless as to which this might be, but I have a hunch that it may be B. Astos' Castle.
FF1WithAllThieves
11-14-2006, 10:31 PM
Incorrect. I'm sorry, the answer was A. Temple of Fiends. The four bats turn out to be the four air warriors (whatever they were called) and when you talk to them towards the end, they speak to you.
Terribly sorry, Kalias, but you do leave with 32000 G, which can buy you quite a few Houses, you know. Anyway, here's the next fastest finger question:
Put these monsters in order of how early you can encounter them, starting with the earliest:
A. Water
B. Geist
C. Creep
D. Warmech
