I've decided to do a challenge of my own, but this time, it's a little different than usual. I am going to record my progress in this topic, just in case i decide to write something up. If this challenge becomes too difficult to complete, i will possibly remove some restrictions (Hopefully that'll never happen). Basically, these are the rules:

MO � Materia Only
NS � No Summons
NE � No E.Skill
NI � No Items
NA � No accessories
NNMI- No Non-Mandatory Inns
IE � Initial Equiptment
NPA � No Physical Attacks
NL � No Limits

You also cannot use any materia that might interfere with the above rules (ex: Deathblow, Slashall, Throw, Added Cut, etc.).

My current Progress: I just defeated Motor Ball, which wasn't very hard at all. I equipped lightning on all 3 of my chars (Aeris, Cloud, and Red XIII), and blew him away. He did use twin Burner once, in which i had to cure (Red XIII had cure-all), but overall, nothing too tough.

I am now leveling up before Kalm. Too bad you don't get the PHS before you get there :(. Things are going to get difficult, believe me..

Just that before you get MP Absorb, it's kind of a gamble whether you'll be able to make it through the next area or not....

I've never actually done any of these challenges before...but they sound very interesting...=]

And a bunch who did an ODINS (One-day-in-no-saves)...
And there was this person who was doing a "Physical Attacks only, no mandatory inns, no materia, no items, initial equipment" challenge....Oo You need to do massive leveling and be very lucky, since there's no way you can heal....I haven't heard from him for a while, either...<<
