We've had these threads before and they are always pretty neat, so trying them again!

They are pretty simple. Basically, someone (like me!) posts a link to a song. The song should be relatively obscure, so that a lot of the posters probably have not heard it before. The next poster listens to the song, posts what they think of it, and then they post a new song to share with the next person.

http://rapidshare.de/ and http://sendspace.com/ are decent places to upload songs to.

Anyways! First song:

Ndi. I have only heard like, one Mr Bungle song. Initially, I was a little iffy, but honestly. I really like it! Really, you'll have to tell me what album that is from. I love how the song progresses into different moods, and the vocal changes! In any case; was surprised by how much I liked it.

OK I'm uploading Air. This song is instrumental, but I don't think that's against the rules?

That Air song sounded like The Cure at the beginning, i like the overall feeling of the songg, it's a bit The Cure meets Flaming Lips with some nice violins, a funky and relaxing song. It reminds me of My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion. It's a great song Lewis ;O

Even In Blackouts: Small, fun, good lyrics and nice female voice

I generally really like songs that like that and I certainly didn't dislike that one but it almost felt like there was something missing. I think if the instrumentnation had been just a little more prominent I would have liked it more, which is kind of wierd because normally I have no problem with songs being really lyrically driven.

My song is kind of long but it has one my favorite lyrics ever in it. Also I saw this band live and they are by far the cutest band that has ever exsisted.

-disclaimer: If you don't like a lot female harmonic vocals and things that are like the musical equivalent of hugging a fluffy bunny you might not like this band.

edit: this song actually conatins no vocal harmony, which is uncommon for the band

That was okay, I guess. It was all a bit slow for my liking, but the singer had a neat voice, can't deny that. I think it had the potential to be better had it been... different in some way. I DUNNO!

Anyways, most of you will probably have heard one song by this band even if you weren't aware that you had. Their song Cells is the theme song in Sin City. Interesting fact: Jeremiah Griffin introduced me to them!

I had a hard time decideding if I liked the singer's voice or not and then I thought that if it took me that long to figure it out it's at least pretty different which is always cool. Overall I thought it was pretty good.

This is a kind of different song, it is by P.O.S. who is a rapper but most of the vocals are done by Craig Finn who was the lead singer of Lifter Puller and is now lead singer of The Hold Steady.
