I love alot of the MIDI files I have on my computer, but I cannot burn them to a disc because none of my programs can burn them to a disc. So i was wondering if anybody can help...like getting me a FULL version of a MIDI to mp3 converter. Or could ya tell me of another program that just burns midi files. PLZ HELP! THNX

I have the same troubles. I tryed to burn the first Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage MIDI's. Failure. There are programs out there, i've just been too lazy to DL. If you are in the states, I suggest you Google it. If not..

You can use Wingroove to convert MIDI to wave. You can also download winamp and a MP3 writing output plugin.

Maybe because you tried to burn as an audio CD? Try burning as data. :P

If you burn as data, you won't be able to hear the music on a CD player.
The "burn" process is similar to a "convert & write" process, so the software, Nero for example, will try to convert basically an audio file to an other file format (eg. MP3 to Wave).
But it cannot be done with MIDI files cos' they're not audio file, they're data files ! In fact, MIDI file is like a document which will tell the MIDI system on your computer what must be played (instruments, notes, etc.). It's almost like "perforated book music" ! The system will give an audio signal.
Finally, you'll need a software, like Wingroove, which will play the music and at the same time capture the audio signal.
