I like the look of swords. It's a standard weapon for RPGs, looks good, and gives the character a presence when you see him wearing the sword on his person. (Of course, it would be better if the sword was a talking sword, see Viktor's Star Dragon Sword in Suikoden...)

Swords are cool, or anything else that is similar. Anything that can cut people up is a good weapon for a hero.

i likes tonfa,likes a hero in suikoden 2.
it can use short or long attack and can use it for shield.that's why i very likes tonfa:)

Hey Zelda games are the best! And Link in the games can use a stick, (i.e. Deku Stick) I think the best is a sword, like in FFVII Clouds Ultima Weapon...

By this i presume that you're talking about in the general RPG Realm. If so i would have to say bow. However should you mean in the current age i would have to say a Sniper Rifle, 50 caliber of course ;). The reason, well i can think of none other than that i'm a coward :D

THE SWORDS are my favorite!Masamune,excalibur,rainbowblade(chrono trigger)are all good examples of badass swords!There is something about swords that interest me..probably the fact that you can slice just about anything!
